Project: Addressing Root Causes- Access to Justice and Jobs in Jordan, Dutch Funded
* Team lead, coordinating two project components ensuring they are being implemented according to the work plan and in
accordance to the projects objective.
* Produce and develop complex proposals as new funding opportunities come in. This includes collaborating across pillars and teams
to ensure competitive proposals are submitted.
* Writing up concept notes/factsheets that best capture the Economic pillars success and strategy. Documents are used for external
visibility purposes.
* Transform data and information collected to showcase projects successes through dashboards and infographics.
* Use data collected from the field to make informative decision and project amendments.
* Supporting the PM in making informative decisions and planning for new interventions.
* Hiring consultants: writing up their scopes, payments schedules, and overseeing their work.
* Research focal point: leading the development of new research methodologies and case studies. Research areas include: stability,
youth perceptions of their livelihoods, SME expansion and its correlation with improving the economy, job creation vs. shared
economy work.
* Translating the information collected by field teams into project documents, such as sectoral results chain maps, concept notes,
market maps, stakeholder matrices.
* Worked closely with MC technical support unit and finance department to create a private sector sub grant manual for MC MENA
region. The manual is being implemented across 6 projects at MC Jordan and Lebanon.
* Overusing the SME Expansion team as they selected sub-grant partners. This included developing grant schemes for each sector
(dairy sector, olive oil sector) to aid the team in awarding business proposals that meet project objectives.
* Writing up contracts for all project partners awarded sub-grants.
* Facilitating new partnerships among the private sector- successfully aided SMEs and start-ups to expand into Northern Jordan by
linking them with other businesses and supporting functions.
* Working closely with the PAQ unit and IT department in the roll-out of the new digital filing system for programmes. This included
identifying all technical, permissions, and design flaws in the system as well as giving practical recommendations which would aid
the teams and not cause much back-work for the IT department.

* Designed and oversaw the implementation of a 5-month work plan. Detailed plan was put into place to ensure smooth workflows
while PM was on maternity leave.
* Project focal point: updating DOP, Dutch MFA, Dutch Embassy and Consortium partners on all project updates. In addition,
responsible for all financial tracking, monthly BVA updates and all procurement matters.
* Focused on new business development, strategic program design and telling high-impact stories about project and MC Economic
pillars work.
* Made key project decisions: selection of the SME sub-grantees, 3rd party training providers and set budgets and payment schedules
for all grantees.

the developed tracker team efficiency was noticeably improved and tasks were completed in a timely matter.

* Developed a learning agenda among Consortium partners. Agenda touched on filling the knowledge gap around sustainable youth
employment programs and effective market works in Jordan.
* Supported the Knowledge and Learning component, focusing on Learning Briefs/Case, Studies/Blogs and subsequent
dissemination of these materials for all components (Access to finance, SME expansion and youth employment).
* Facilitated training sessions, drawing on the learnings from market assessments, implementation, and partnership collaborations.
* Developed sub-grant management process for private sector actors, this included developing a concept notes outlining program
goals and eligible sub-grant proposals, compressive application, eligibility criteria, scoring criteria, building a sub-grant awarding
committee.
* Independently obtained a research seed grant, which kick-started an impact study under the Access to Justice and Jobs project.
* On-boarded all new ARC staff members. This included on-boarding for three components Employability, SME Expansion and M&E
staff.

Project: Addressing Root Causes- Access to Justice and Jobs in Jordan, Dutch Funded
* Set up the projects MEL plan, log frame and data collection.
* Collaborated with the Dutch MFA’s technical M&E unit in fine tuning the definitions of high-level indicators and writing of new
impact level indicators. All were included in the new ARC 2017 common framework, which is being used by 12 other organizations
implementing ARC funded project globally.
* Upon developing a complex project management plan (PMP), facilitated a seminar at Dutch MFA to other ARC implementing
partners. Seminar focused on how to create a complex yet adaptive PMP that can capture project level success and still be used by
the MFA to aggregated data and show ARC fund impact.
* Lead writer of all 7- market assessment reports as well as 2-deep dive market assessment reports. Assessments focused on
markets in Northern Jordan in stable state with potential of economic growth.
* Co-lead in the first MC-MENA Youth Lead Labor Market Assessment (YLMA). Tasks included training 40 youth participates on
using mobile data collection tools, overseeing the data collection process in Northern Jordan, data cleaning and analysis, and final
write up of YLMA report.
* Used findings from YLMA to make recommendations on the sectors Employability team should target along with list of potential
partners in Northern Jordan.
* During inception phase of project aided in intervention design for both employability and SME expansion components. My role
included being the soundboard in ensuring interventions and activities would best meet market demands and end beneficiaries.
* Aided heavily in revising project proposal and creating a 3-year work plan among Consortium partners. Both were integral
deliverables required to obtain final approval from the donor.
* On boarded the M&E assistant team and data collection team- built their capacity allowing them to work independently with very
minimal supervision

Project: Support Retention of At-Risk Boys and Girls Enrolled in Lebanese Public Education, UNICEF funded.
* Developed a monitoring and evaluation tool in accordance to the projects work-plan. This tool was used to monitor all 5, 000
learners in 36 schools thought out cycle 1 &2 of the project.
* Quality control on all data collected by field staff, aggregated information for the sake of external reports.
* Created awareness among Syrian refugee families on the importance of primary and secondary education. Aided field staff in
enrolling children ages 5-14 into second shift school programs.
* Aided in the collection and compilation of both quantitative and qualitative data during cycle 2 of the project. Conducted focus
group interviews with trained public school teachers, to recognize if teachers were implementing the Ana-Aqra classroom
management approach properly.
* Conducted weekly field visits to schools across host communities in Lebanon, in order to prepare for a quality evaluation report
that was submitted to UNICEF.
* Gave recommendations on all bottlenecks faced during implementation phase to the Project Management team.
