• Provide a methodical approach in the oversight of the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of the project.
• Prepare manpower planning and distribution on several tasks within the department’s scope of activities.
• Provide project financial management for all applicable project commitments, contract changes, and claim resolution for all out-of-scope services to be performed in accordance with contractual requirements and corporate standards.
• Monitoring the implementation of execution activities and ensuring the development and review of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for effective execution.
• Coordinating between project discipline leads to support project-wide deliverables within the appropriate project schedule
• Reporting to the top management and client (Monthly Progress Report, Weekly Progress Report, Meeting Report), and providing the necessary data (charts, graphs, etc.) required for the progress report

·Modeling and simulations of plant / system using HYSYS, PROMAX,

Preparation of pre-qualification documents, technical bid preparation and evaluation.

Development of PFD/P& ID, Heat and material balance, process data sheets, equipments specifications, design, operating & control philosophies, isolation and shutdown philosophies.

Preparation of shut down, start up procedures and O&M manuals.

Participation in HAZOP study.

Sizing and selection of Pumps, separators, heat exchangers, and other production and processing equipments.

Line sizing, pressure drop calculations, Pump hydraulic study, TSV and PSV sizing calculations, orifice sizing, control valve sizing.

Sizing and rating of Heat exchangers.

Modeling, sizing and detailed engineering of LPG recovery plants, dehydration packages, dew point plants, gas sweetening plants etc

Experience in Conceptual Design, FEED and Detailed Engineering of Central processing facilities and Gas Processing facilities.

Expert in modeling and simulations of the oil & gas processing plants using HYSYS.

Experience in Onshore and offshore projects.

Well experienced in sizing and selection of Pumps, Separators, Heat exchangers, and other production and processing equipments.

Well conversant with Line sizing, pressure drop calculations, Pump hydraulic study, PSV and TRV sizing calculations.

Experienced in thermal design and rating of Heat exchangers using HTRI Software.

Hands own experience in modeling, sizing and detailed engineering of complete dehydration and gas conditioning packages using HYSYS and in built sizing programs.

Very good knowledge of LPG recovery units.

Good knowledge in applications of STDs and codes like, ASME, API, NACE, DEP, TEMA and GPSA.

A very good logical and reasoning ability.

Study and debottlenecking of the plant/system.

FEED / Basic Engineering

• Preparation of Process flow diagrams based on simulation outputs.
• Preparation of PID based on simulation outputs.
• Carrying out material and energy balance based on feed / product specifications and basic process flow diagram and simulation study.
• Preparation / development of PFDs/PIDs, equipment datasheets, etc.

• Detail Engineering

• Interpretation of technical requirements (Design Basis) given by Client / PMC, PFD, material and energy balance, equipment specifications, standard specifications of the project for further development of P&IDs and equipment datasheets.
• Modification of P&IDs, preparation / updation of equipment and instrument datasheets.

• Process Co-ordination

• Coordination with other engineering disciplines.
• Coordination with client for various clarifications/confirmations and discrepancies with respect to process design development.
• Project documentation and maintenance of ISO quality procedure

1)Project : Arab Tank Terminal project.

Project details:

Detailed Engineering design for developing the storage and loading facility and related networks. The project includes loading / unloading to / from ships and tankers, storage / blending and loading facilities etc.

Project details:

Involved in the performance test of Inlet separation facility, Shams plant, Oman .Done the debottlenecking study for sweetening unit. Study was done with process modeling on Promax software, for amine sweetening units.

1)Project : NTGG Project.
Position : Process Engineer, GAIL, India.
Plant / Unit : NTGG unit, Gail (India) Limited

Project details:

Natural gas to Gas and gasoline project for utilizing the heavy condensate came out of the LPG recovery unit. The heavy condensate was treated, reacted and separated to various quality products like gasoline, diesel etc. The plant having throughput of 28 TPD utilizes Catalytic paraffinic cracking to convert NGL to LPG and Gasoline. It consists of two reactors working in Swing Logic Control to enhance the total recovery of LPG from the feed The off-gas and LPG resulted from the reaction / separation was routed back to the LPG recovery unit.

Job Profile:
Preparation and review of PFD, P&ID, preparation of Standard operating manuals, technical bid evaluation, review of Vendor manuals, review of isometrics, checking the operability, review of calculations, technical support to operations, planning the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities, supervision, inspection and approvals of major activities like, catalyst loading in reactors, packing in columns, ensuring safe and smooth shut down and start up of the plant, equipment erection and functional tests, conducting and participating the HAZOP etc.


2)Project : Revamping of LEF column
Position : Process Engineer, GAIL, India.
Plant / Unit : LPG Extraction unit, Gail (India) Limited

Project details:

Light end fractionation tower revamping for yield and quality improvement. The plant is having a throughput of 2.5 MMSCMD of Natural gas producing 78000 TPA of LPG using Cryogenic Turbo-Expansion process. The LPG produced meets the specification IS-4576/1999.
