I was able to establish professional relationships with suppliers, transporters and shipping agencies to ensure smooth operations in delivering the purchased goods to our clients -big companies in the oil and energy industry-. I was also in charge with the documentation part of either import or export. I also designed and created the company’s website.
My day-to-day job consisted in sourcing properties available for rent and providing guidance and assisting owners and rent seekers in closing residential, property deals. In order to achieve this goal, it was needed to determining clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them, performing comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value and finally, to negotiate the best terms for each party.
My main responsibilities and accomplishments were to design and execute marketing strategies to strengthen the brand image, supervise under CRM environment the work of tele-marketing executives, design and execute social media campaigns. Generation of web content, development of the corporate newsletter in Spanish, support in the area of SEO, organization of seminars, development and purchase of advertising material such as billboards, press and television, among others.
While working at Creativa stores, I had the chance to design and execute marketing strategies to strengthen the brand image and increase client’s traffic in the stores belonging to the group. This implied to produce -in store- events, classes, and promotions. Also, for two of the seven stores in the group, I was a part of the team in charge of designing the store’s concept and bring it to reality.
This was my first adventure in the Marketing world and learnt how to design and execute marketing strategies to strengthen the image and presence in the market of the brands marketed by the group of companies. Another big part of my tasks was to coordinate advertising investments in Media and Events at national level, planning and support of corporate events, and had also responsibilities in the Purchase department.
During my time at Ford, I was in charge of management of internal and external communications, this included drafting press releases and designing the internal information paper (InFORDmando Newspaper), updating the local website and write for the corporate website based in Detroit and projected globally. Also supported the Department's Director, in managing press and communications agencies, department's budget and suppliers, and finally handled the VIP Sales Program.
I started my first professional job as a journalist in a magazine specialized in motor’s content. There, my main job was to write\produce content\articles for the magazine. After eight months got promoted to Chief of Press and in addition to my writing job, started coordinating the activities inherent to the press department, such as interviews, assignment of pieces, supervision of editorial work, and plan and design every issue’s summary.
Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication. Specialized in print press and journalism.
