Job Description:

Understand the requirements of project HSE plan to ensure project HSE plan and company IMS HSE management system is implemented in daily work activities on site / in the area of responsibility

Perform HSE induction for all new employees in line with Company and Project site HSE rules and regulations in the language understood by them

Assist HSE Supervisor in scheduling, arranging and delivering HSE / B2B training effectively to site employees to increase and maintain high level of HSE awareness

Prepare B2B HSE training record using training passport in combination with training stickers and attendance sheets independently and / or in co-ordination with other HSE staff

Communication of HSE Policy, applicable legal requirements, HSE information and lessons learned time to time to all project personnel / in the area of responsibility

Participate in / facilitate preparation, review and modifications of risk assessments as required; for all project activities, facilities including camp accommodation and transportation.

Assist Supervisors to complete accident / incident forms for on-site and off-site accidents related to project employees, vehicles

Lead / participate in accident / incident investigation and reporting as necessary and follow-up the corrective actions until completion

Monitor safe transportation, storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals on site as applicable

Ensure tools and equipment including vehicles are inspected, tested, and color coded as required by relevant procedure and inspections recorded using appropriate form

Ensure emergency response preparedness provisions / plans in place and awareness amongst site employees

Assist Sr. HSEO / conduct emergency drills for identified emergencies on project site as per required frequency

Ensure waste is segregated, stored and disposed properly and log maintained

Perform inspection of fire detection and firefighting equipment regularly and report findings to concern in time for corrective actions

Monitor work area environment through the pro -active enforcement of HSE rules and regulations

Advice / guide site employees on section, use, limitations, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment and monitor the compliance

Closely monitor the compliance with permit to work system as applicable

Ensure work platforms are safe to use and meets site requirements related to access, egress and work platforms

Monitor provisions made for heat stress management during hot weather

Regular inspection of first aid facility and replenishment of required items.

Monitor subcontractors HSE compliance with Kentz HSE rules and regulations on site and provide feedback to project management

Prepare and submit necessary reports for HSE Supervisor / Project HSE Manager

Participate in audits and monitor follow-up and close out of corrective actions for the findings raised during internal and external IMS-HSEMS audits

Participate and provide necessary input for project HSE meetings to review HSE performance and participate in client meetings as required

Establish and maintain effective work relationship between company, clients and subcontractors

Understand and follow routes of communication as per project organization chart

Job Description

9.Conduct and participates on the job safety and tool box meeting.

10.Coordinates the site first aid and rescue services.

11.nvestigate all accidents, injuries, property damage, and other safety related incidents and issues the required report.

12.Evaluates the need for requisitioning of safety first aid and fire protection equipment needed on the job, and ensure that safety equipments meet applicable standards and is maintained in good condition.

13.Conduct as required gas test, noise, and dust surveys and evaluation of industrial hygiene on area of responsibility.

14.Conduct regular inspection on fire protection equipment and installations to ensure their availability during times of emergency.

15.Coordinates the hazardous work and work permit program and review permits to ascertain Standard Safety Operating Procedure (confined space entry; lock-out tag-out procedure, hot works procedure; working at higher elevations; e.t.c. ) is followed

(power transformer, SF6 circuit breaker, oil circuit breaker, vacuum circuit breaker, power capacitor, etc.)

2.Hourly demand monitoring using SCADA tool ( software tool on computer used to monitoron system capacity, frequency, power factor, etc.)

3.Field operation assignment ( transmission line survey, street lights maintenance, power metering installation and maintenance, monthly meter reading on power end users within MEPZ II.)

4.Execute basic lineman assignment ( like busted power fuse replacement, street light fixtures installation, working inspection at heights, etc.)

5.Customer service ( prepare and deliver power interruption schedules, system installation services based on job orders, etc.)

6.Canvassing of required materials and equipment for operation and construction

1.Assist on substation maintenance ( like perimeter cleaning, battery supply inspection, SF6 circuit breaker pressure inspection, power transformer oil inspection and demand monitoring found in digital primary metering.

2.Perform high pot testing on suspension insulators, post insulators and etc. using high pot tester ( voltage injection up to 18KV, humming insulators within these range were rejected.)

3.Assist on transformer test ratio (TTR) testing

4.Prepare materials and serves as groundman for transmission line construction and maintenance.

5.Process job order coming from customers request ( like pole erection, meter installation for new applicants and etc.)

6.Customer service ( entertain customers regarding their comments and complaints, provide customers assistance regarding their requested requirements )
