A Maternity Nurse that manages Mothers post-partum and babies needs immediately after they reach their respective homes.
Counselling mothers, act as lactation consultant, sleep-feed trainers for babies
Takes care of and provide advises to pregnant women throughout the pregnancy and carefully monitor the progress of the unborn babies. After childbirth, take care for newborn babies providing advice on feeding, bathing, dressing, frequent diseases and also provide education for new mothers in the first month after delivery, helping them feeling comfortable handling their new infant. Give advice on each and every aspect of baby-care, that includes breast or bottle-feeding, routine settings, general baby care, and last but not least, hygiene.
Promoting and maintaining optimal patient safety and wellness. Excellence in assessing nursing needs, planing, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care and has demonstrated competence and efficiency in administering medications, monitoring and maintaining intravenous therapy, rendering basic life support, and performing procedures within the scope of nursing.
