Project Description: Cairo Metro Project Line 3 Phase 3.
Responsibilities:
o Coordinator and responsible for implementing the project HSE management system in
accordance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and its migration to the ISO 45000
standard; in compliance with the project contract and company corporate requirements.
o Coordinator and responsible for implementing the project Emergency Preparedness and
Response Plan.
o Coordination and responsible for implementing the Environment Management Plan.
o Coordinator and responsible for HSE audits and inspections.
o Coordinator and responsible for HSE incident and accident investigation reports.
o Coordinator and responsible for internal HSE meetings and with project Stakeholders.
o Contribution to decision-making regarding temporary works such as scaffolding, formwork,
etc.
o Contribution to decision-making regarding contractual HSE correspondence, such as
claims.
o Responsible for issuing HSE reports on: KPIs, accident investigation, recordable cases of
illnesses and accidents, audits and inspections, training and campaigns, complaints,
environmental monitoring measurements.
o Contribution to the readiness and commencement of construction activities by reviewing
method statements, work procedures and risk assessments so that work is carried out
safely.
o Contribution to decision-making regarding permanent works in areas such as safety in
design, safety life cycle, fire-fighting system, safety assurance and project safety case.
o Responsible for the HSE training plan and HSE campaign plan.
o Coordination of requirements to safely carry out the following critical activities:

Project: Cairo Metro Project, comprising: 15 stations (8 underground, 5 elevated and 2 at grade
stations), 7 annex structures, 2 TBM shafts, 1 depot, 8 km of bored tunnel, 12 km viaduct sections,
4 km at grade sections and 24 km of track.
The project has 6 Groups of Work Packages:
Group 1: Signaling & driving modes, Centralized Control & Telecommunication;
Group 2: Civil Works, including arrangement (architectural) works;
Group 3: Power Supply, Electromechanical equipment, Rolling stock Maintenance
Facilities, including Maintenance Management System (MMS);
Group 4: Track works and power rail;
Group 5: Rolling Stock; and
Group 6: Toll Equipment.

Project Description: Nacala Corridor Project - Railway and port terminal.

dredging creating the access channel and vessel turning circle, 4 pipelines (ADO 50 & ADO 500,
ULP 95, Jet A1 and HFO) each one with 6 kms, tank farm with 7 depots and up to 75, 000 m^3, rail
loading area and road tanker loading.
