DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, schedules, assigns, supervises and participates in the work of electricians engaged in the repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Provides technical guidance in carrying out breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical / electronics problems with installations and controls.
• Recommends equipment and supplies related to maintenance activities, prepares estimates for maintenance needs which includes time, labor and material requirements.
• Performs visual inspections in order to determine maintenance requirements and appropriate repair method.
• Enforces safety and work performance standards and regulations.
• Study electrical working drawings, diagrams and other information. Understands the layouts and equipment installation details.
• Responsible for updating electrical as built plans using AUTOCAD.
• Plans, designs and prepares estimates in the upgrading of electrical equipment such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Isolated power supplies (IPS) and redundant power supply for critical areas like Operating Theatres.
• Monitor and ensure the continuous operation of all emergency equipment such Generators, Pumps, Medical Gas Equipment Emergency Chillers and AHU’s.
• Supervise generator sets and automatic transfer switches periodical testing and in case of normal power failure. To ensure a continuous electrical power supply to the hospital.
• Supervise installation of electrical machines, equipments, controls, lighting fittings, distribution boards etc. as per working drawings and electrical standards and specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible in the operation and maintenance of 4-1000KW Air Started Diesel Engine Generators for the continuous supply of power of Long Range Radar of Royal Saudi Air Force.
• Performance of preventive maintenance instructions both electrical and mechanical of the Diesel Generators and its associated equipment.
• Responsible in the operation and maintenance of Switchgear, Transformers, UPS, Batteries, Black Start generator, Loop switches, Motor Control Center, Control switches, Control Panels, Distribution panels, Emergency Lighting Panel, Isolation Transformer, Lighting system, Low and High Voltage System Water Heaters, Motors and EDR Water Treatment.
• Conduct orientation and provide technical information and experience to the Saudi Nationals regarding the day to day operation of Power Plant.
• As requested assist other technicians in the performance of their duties.

• Supervise facilities operators and technicians in the preventive maintenance activities.
• Evaluate machine performance and initiate various upgrading and modification.
• Maintain various spare parts inventory and ensure optimum level of stock.
• Repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of different facilities equipment such as:
1. Electronic circuitry of facilities equipment
2. 34KV-480V Outdoor Substation
3. 3-units 750 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Batteries
4. 2-units 3 MVA Square D Transformer
5. Low voltage switchgear, Square D
6. 450 Tons Trane Liquid Chiller
7. Marly Cooling Towers
8. Centralized Air handling units
9. Caterpillar gensets (750KVA to 1560 KVA)
10. Sullair Vacuum Pumps
11. Atlas Copco Air Compressors (ZR3) and Driers
12. Cummins Diesel Engine Fire Pumps
13. Osmonics Reverse Osmosis Deionization Unit (RODI)
14. Ion Exchanged Mixed Bed
15. Centrifugal water pumps of various capacities.
• Responsible in maintaining a class 1K, 10K and 100K clean room environment.
• Make energy analysis and implement energy conservation program in the electrical distribution system.
• Drafts electrical plans and updates as-built plans using AUTOCAD.
• Prepare and submit weekly accomplishment and utilities consumption report.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation and circuiting of Electrical panels, Motors, Motor controls, lightings and Electrical outlets.
• Responsible in the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic component of production machine.
• Responsible in the maintenance of 34.5KV-460V, 3-333KVA Outdoor Substation.
• Schedule and make timely repair of production machine to minimize time lost.
• Responsible for the inventory of production machine’s spare parts to minimize down-time during equipment failure.
• Read and interpret electrical design plan and diagram.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involves in the construction, machine installation and operational stage of the Plant.
• Repairs, troubleshoots all electrical and electronic components of the machine during operation stage. Equipment includes Programmable Logic Controller PLC (National), Electronic sensors, motor controls and electrical and electronic circuitry of industrial machine, induction motors, air compressors and pneumatic system.
• Lead and supervise production maintenance technicians in the monitoring, repair and maintenance of production machines during operation stage.
• Held responsible in maintaining Outdoor and Indoor Substation (34.5KV / 11.4KV / 380 V), Gas Circuit Breaker (SF6), Vacuum Circuit Breaker, ATS, Transformers and Generators.
• Since Plant setup requires the electrical department to handle the Air-conditioning System, equipment also included Chillers (Trane - 500 Tons), Cooling Towers, Softener Tank, AHU, and all Air-conditioning accessories.
