junior mechatronics engineer
band industries
Total years of experience :2 years, 3 Months
● At Band Industries I helped design and develop Roadie 2 and Roadie Bass
those are automatic tuners designed to catch the tune of a certain guitar for
example in the noisiest environments and tuning them to the frequency
needed for each string and is stand alone with its new user interface:

● My contributions include designing the peg connectors for both of them to
ensure compatibility with most stringed instruments on the market with
prototype and testing jig designing and fabricating using 3D printing for
testing and data collection.
● On the development side i helped develop a big part of the firmware now
existing in roadie 2 and its Bass version including the user interface and user
experience with much of the background functionalities including data
transmission with the mobile app using keil uvision 5 and nrf52832 arm
cortex microcontroller.
● Planning and execution of the product along the way for functionality and
user experience.
● As we moved to a new location I was in charge of designing a new
mechatronics lab and building it as an improvement over the old one for
better efficiency and organization for hardware/firmware work.
● Using Altium Designer software to design and draw a circuit schematic and
then lay it out as a pcb to be manufactured and populated for current projects.
(I do project work and offer support for products i sell as a project engineer and sales representative. When needed, I deal directly with suppliers. I exercise quality management making sure a customer is 100% satisfied with working product with quality recommendations with high standards. Also, product sourcing micro-controllers, sensors, interfaces, communication modules and other related and non-related products. Also experimenting to come up with existing products but made cheaper than what already exists in the market for smaller price and more profit.
