As an operations manager for Amazon, my responsibilities were to make sure procedural compliance, Budgeting, Business Planning, and logistics planning the Greater London region as well as working with Network Planning, Process Engineering and international projects team to implement and plan the new operations system. Manage the team of 5 Area managers and over 400 agency staff members and planning the required workforce and dealing with agency contractors regarding the workforce. The onboarding of the senior management team and conduct disciplinary meetings.

As a warehouse/HR manager, my responsibilities were to control the daily shift activities ensuring compliance to all aspects of health and safety ensuring safe and legal compliance, achieving all shifts KPI's to deliver agreed on productivity within time and budgetary constraints. Ensuring the required level of service to our stores and customers at all times. I managed over 2400 staff members.
Plan all necessary training in line with budgetary constraints.
Manage my crew's time off in line with supporting your attendance routines.

Handle disciplinary, attendance review and, right to work meetings.
Complete weekly team 5 brief and annual reviews.
Proactively deliver all operational key performance indicators each shift.

Provide guidance to Warehouse team managers regarding disciplinary, attendance, and grievance meetings.
Maintain exceptional standards throughout the distribution centre.
Ensure all health and safety routines are adhered to at all times.
Consistently coaching and motivating staff to achieve maximum results.
Work with all departments to ensure maximum output in all areas.
Resolve my crew member's issues formally to reduce grievances and appeals.
Achievements:
Completing the Turnaround project, achieving and improving attendance rate in a warehouse with over 2400 employees, achieving high performance and implementing new sickness procedure. Developing several team members through management development Programme and signed off.
Deliver daily huddle and work time listening sessions to all staff covering all aspects of the business. Engage in open communication to motivate staff, build relationships with other offices and functions.
•Prioritize workload, plan and organise staff allocation to maximize business capabilities.
•Spearheaded and implemented Single Daily targets, significantly reducing core work time hours on nights resulting in hours and cash savings, without impacting on quality figures.
Managed and facilitated the implementation of a new sick reporting system, improved and introduced a new recording of sickness procedures, training frontline managers to communicate to staff new guidelines
