***Operational Functions:
*Ensure efficient management of the replenishment process of on-site & out-side ATMs as well as cash reconciliation and report any malfunctions for repairs and maintenance.
* Ensure efficient management of cash transfer between the Br and the cenrtal vault/ other Branches.
*Ensure that all counter Cash/operations transactions are accurately handled.
*Introduce and promote alternate channels to customers to reduce traffic in branches as well as meeting the bank standard offloading rate.
* Prepare the necessary data needed by branches operations support unit for internal/external reporting.
* Ensure that there is no returned cases from central operations team due to any discrepancies.
*** Managerial Functions:
* Review the performance of the branches operational staff to determine strengths and weaknesses and ensures provision of adequate training and development prog. To enhance thier capabilities enabling them to perform all the required set standards.
*Ensures that all controls are followed and implemented as per the bank SOPs and compliance regulations.
*** Reporting :
* Be attentive to any possible frauds and risks and provide customers feedback.
* Escalates the unsolved customer complaints to the Ops, BH or AOM for thier input.
*** People Management:
* Sets priorities to subordinates, distribute workload, set time frame for implementaion and follow up performance.
* Transfers knowledge, guidance and act as role model for new hires staff and subordinates and create second line managers.
