My job as an accountant of the head office require me to handle the proper accounting of the books and ensure that it follows the IFRS standards. I also prepare reports such as Financial Statements (Financial Position, Income, Statements, and Cash Flow Statements). I also handle the month end closing of the books. Part of my job is to handle the year end external audit the company, and some administrative jobs that my Department would require. I also handle bank related matters

Mazars Chartered Accountant is an Independent International Audit Firm that provides professional services such us Audit and Assurance, Taxation and Accounting services to Public and Private owned entities in Bahrain. As an associate auditor, I was given with SME clients. My tasks include the careful selection of the audit procedures to be implemented to the client with the proper supervision by the Senior Auditor. The procedures are to be approved by the Engagement Partner. I do the fieldworks, dealing with the clients and directly communicating with my Senior Auditor.
Our job in Mazars is not limited to the Audit and Assurance, as I were assigned to handle one company in Oil and Gas Industry to assist on their month end closing. The accounting procedures are relatively complex as it is a global company with different branches around the globe. Month end closing includes the consolidation of its financial position, and the revaluation of the receivables in the foreign currency
Mazars Chartered Accountants Office in Bahrain is relatively small in terms of the transactions, hence I were able to set up its first year of accounting records in the Peach Tree System.
Bin Yousef Cargo Express is among the leading Freight Forwarder in Doha Qatar. It was my first job in the Middle East. I have worked in the Finance Department handling the cash related invoices. Posting of the cash receipts and cash payments. I also check that the costing of the jobs are properly recorded.
I do prepare the daily cash reports and reporting it to the Finance Manager. My three years in the company have enabled me to adapt to a working environment that is quite different from the Philippines. Learned how to deal with different kind of people including customer complains
The Company is one of the biggest Stock Brokerage Firm in the country. Starting my career as a CPA, I was under the supervision of the Accounting Manager. My job includes but not limited to preparation of the monthly withholding taxes, VAT and its quarterly filing. I also prepares the selling and buying invoices at the end of each trading day. The company has a scriptless transactions hence, keeping the documentations are easier.

In the Philippines, this is the only allowed degree to take up the CPA examination after the BSBA Major in Accounting has been superseded I am currently pursuing US CPA license
