Sales and Procurement

• Reports to the Sales/ Purchasing Coordinator and communicates with the suppliers with regards to prices, availability, terms of deliveries, payments, and any other tasks that may be required.

• Ensures payments for purchased products are done through smooth coordination with accounts department with regards to any payment terms, including letter of credit (LC).
• Assists Sales/Purchasing Coordinator in maintaining stock control, monitoring the sales and product movement. Assists the Sales Persons by providing necessary information that may be required, and any other tasks that may be asked to do so.

Imports for Land, Sea, Trans-shipment and sea to air

• Communicates with suppliers to provide shipment schedule, copies of shipping documents for checking, and all other information required for importing.
• Ensures that details in all shipping documents are correct and accurate as per the requirement of the customer, if direct shipment, and as per Customs requirement.
• Coordinates with suppliers if there are any claims/insurance claims of defects or shortage of the cargo shipment
• Monitors incoming shipments and makes certain that all documents and requirements are available before arrival of the vessel.
