Project Title: Abu Dhabi Police e-payment Service:

This is a secure web-based online payment interface that allows individuals to apply for vehicle and driving licenses, and pay their fines electronically. The system is connected to Comtrust Payment gateway for authorizing credit cards and transferring funds and uses Oracle 9i database to archive payment data for accounting purpose.

TacSoftNET is a content management system developed using the .NET web technology. Project Title: Abu Dhabi Police Web Site:

Abu Dhabi police uses TacSoft Content Management System for managing and archiving data. I migrated the CMS application from MS Access to Oracle 9i, designed the whole system database, and redeveloped the data-access layer in COM components.

Project Title: Reuters City Skiing Guide 2002:

A web-based version of a 1000 page printed guide. I designed the database and developed Visual Basic application to import 130 skiing resorts data from 5 Excel spreadsheets. I also developed ASP pages to allow the user to browse resort details and search for resorts using sophisticated search form.

Project Title: Reuters Pin high:

Pin high is Reuters Fantasy Golf Game based on the real Golf game. The main parts of this application are the web-based front end, and Administration pages with Intensive use of ADO business logic to ensure robustness.

Project Title: Reuters City Games Server:

An internal statistics report. I used Java Networking technology to access IIS log file remotely, analyse the log entries, and generate the report. Java Applets were also used to display charts in addition to ASP web pages.

Project Title: Reuters PixNet:

PixNet is a Content Management System used to publish Reuters World correspondent’s reports and photographers work. It enables the administrators to add, edit or delete reports, articles, correspondents and photographers details.

Project Title: Reuters Crossword:

This is a crossword applet built based on Java commercial software. I changed the source code to provide more control over the game and the user interaction. The game was then linked to an ASP form to collect data and user details.
