Contracts, Subcontracts and Techno-Commercial Management

 Expertise in interpretation, review analysis, negotiation, proposing revisions and implementation of contract agreements.
 Liaison with Proposals, Cost Control, PMT, Procurement, Insurance, Tax, Legal and Accounts.
 Interface with Contractors to minimise claims, deal with work scope variances, determine requirements viz., Change Order, Extensions, Terminations, as essential in liaison with PMT and prepare relevant documents.
 Prepare, organise and draft requests for proposals, bid opening, bid clarfication, technical and commercial evaluations of bid, pre-qualification, recommendation of awards and seek approval of selected bid.
 Carry out scrutiny, review analysis and approval of subcontract agreements, letters of intent, purchase order and subcontract/service orders to define risk exposure and develop strategy to optimise organisational or project objectives.
 Communicate, coordinate with and oversee mob-demob of Contractor or subcontractor.
 Ensure inclusion of QHSES policies in all relevant documents and coordinate with Contractors for compliance. Generate progress reports, presentations on various contracts and subcontracts.
 Monitor project progress, review and certify progressive invoices.
 Finalise subcontractor final accounts, claims and payment applications by interacting with them.
 Resolve contractor’s performance and other issues, disputes, and seek legal team’s support where essential.

Supply Chain Management

 Locate vendors of materials, supplies or equipment, buy raw or semi-finished materials, products and services, wherever required or plan, direct and coordinate the activities of buyers and expeditors and look for the best deals - the highest quality at the lowest possible prices and minimum lead time.
 Research and analyse the market and logistic systems in order to assess current and future material availability.
 Maintain records of goods that are ordered and received.
 Manage logistics, cost analysis and materials coordination.
 Identify standards and establish quality plus reliability objectives.
 Supplier, Subcontractor, Vendor Pre-qualification, in conjunction with QHSE.
 Liaise with vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities and project status.
 Supervise the progress of on-time supply and communicate issues to meet set targets.
 Tracking job to ensure manifestation of priorities in the plan in liaison with concerned teams.
 Identify supply bottlenecks and lead in solution development and implementation.

General Management

 Provide management approach on service offerings, project preferences and technical direction.
 Play an important role in decision making process concerning company’s business plan, strategy building and developing long term goals in collaboration with Board of Directors.
 Drive business profitability and financial performance by securing more projects in the market and networking with key industry players and business contacts.
 Pursue business development opportunities and conduct market research to gather market intelligence in order to devise plan for the business to remain competitive.
 Channelise client engagement from definition phase through implementation.
 Ensure on time processing of bids and proposals, work on closing the deal, negotiate contract agreements, award letters of intent, subcontract agreements, work orders to subcontractors, service providers, procure products, materials and provide guidance to the team.
 Utilise performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
 Responsible for supply chain management, insurances, taxes, logistics, ports & customs documentation and QHSES.
 Manage staff development, guiding and training for operational efficiency.
