Primary Roles:
Prepare information security standards, build guides and best practices.
Providing security awareness training campaign across DA to bring awareness among corporate users.
Conduct risk analysis by auditing critical services from time-time and updating respective teams regarding the status and action to be taken for mitigating the risks.
Extensive experience on using tools like MVM, Nexpose Enterprise, FortiDB, Websense Web filter, Websense Data Discover, Sophos Enterprise.
Monitor events in SIEM and initiate appropriate action with respective teams.
Experience in assessing Operational Technologies like BHS, PLB etc..
Identify and implement appropriate security controls to mitigate identified risks.
Conduct PT & VA from time-time on systems, applications & databases and work with relevant teams for closure on the findings.
Review applications, databases & websites before Go-Live.
Prepare NDA’s with third parties to ensure compliance.
Ensure Security by Design for all Projects/Initiatives.
Conduct RCA as part of incident management process and lead incident handling.
Prepare and implement security policies for mobile devices.
As a change advisory board member, perform risk assessments, impact and final approval of any changes.
Participate in audits conducted by various Government auditing agencies.
Implementation of ISR (information Security Regulation by Dubai Gov.) equivalent to ISO 27001.

Prepared Risk Register by working with the team extensively by conducting various assessments at OS, App, DB, Web & Network level.
Successfully completed the analysis, design & monitored implementation of CCTV and SACS for all data centers and critical office locations.
Lead & deployed successfully SIEM solution from Nitro security.
Successfully deployed enterprise VA by McAfee - MVM (McAfee vulnerability manager-TVM).
Successfully deployed Nexpose Enterprise (TVM).
Successfully deployed DB Security tool from Fortinet (FortiDB).
Major role in the preparation & launch of Information Security Policy Manual in Dubai Airports.
Driven Data Classification exercise across Dubai Airports.
Successfully deployed Enterprise Forensic and Incident handling system from Guidance Software (Encase enterprise & Cyber Security).
Successfully deployed Websense Data Discover (1st Phase) as part of DLP (Data Leakage Prevention).
Highly involved in virtualizing DA ICT infrastructure as part of Green ICT from security perspective.
Implementation of Two factor authentication (OTP) from Safeword and Vasco.
Designed and Implemented Cisco IPS 4260.
Currently analyzing the environment for BCP/DR.
Extensively involved in bringing up new ICT infrastructure at the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Jebel Ali ensuring all security requirements are met.
