Common Sea Water Supply Project, Iraq - Currently responsible for the engineering of the FEED for a 2 million m3/d seawater treatment facility and associated 250 MW power plant in southern Iraq. The project also includes EPC services for a small scale 1, 500 m3/d demonstration plant.
Job Profile:
Developing Electrical schematic, Physical Layout, Lighting layouts and Hazardous Area Classification Drawings.
Drafting of P & IDs, PFDs and Block Diagrams of Piping and Process areas.
Standardisation of standard electrical drawings as per client standard.
Developing Electrical Equipment and Load List.
Indoor and outdoor lighting, grounding, lightning protection schemes.
Substation building electrical distribution, cable duct banks, trenches, cellars, entry and exit arrangements.
Barakah Nuclear Power Project - Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation - Responsible for the Electrical & Instrumentation Control Wiring Diagram, Cable Block Diagram, Panel Schedule, Panel/Rack GA, BOM etc. for the PPS Area.
Emirates Aluminium - Greenfield Aluminium smelter with associated power generation facilities at the Khalifa Port & Industrial Zone, in Taweelah, Construction of an Aluminium smelter with production of Aluminium and a combined cycle power plant.
Job Profile:
Engineering & Design of Cast House Area Power Utility - All Electrical Lighting & Load calculation, sizing & selection of equipment, Drafting of Schematic, Highbay & Lowbay Lighting, Small power Layout, Cable tray and Earthing Layouts, Cable sizing calculations, Material take off, P&IDs, PFDs, Block Diagrams, Instrument Index, Cable Termination and Loop Diagrams etc.
Working with Smart Plant Foundation
Maintain technical, design and drafting standards and procedures.
Ensure quality consistency of all deliverables.
Maintain records of all deliverables.
Undergo EHS training and attend weekly meetings
Electrical engineering & design activities of open and underground mines and EHV Substations from concept to detailed design.
Co-ordinating with Jr. Designers for the drafting of Electrical single line diagram, Station Arragement Plan, Station Elevation, Station Arrangement Section, Control Room Building Layout, Cable Tray Sizing, Cable Tray Layout, Cable Tray Grounding Layout, Lighting layout, Underground Conduit Plan, Cable Routing Layout, Earthing Layout, Cable Schedule, Lighting Panel Schedule, Load Lists, Specifications, Switchgear Sizing and Generation of BOM for Electrical Installations, P & IDs, PFDs, Block Diagrams, Instrument Index, Cable Termination Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Fire Alarm Diagram etc. for Open and Underground mines and EHV Substations.
Study and implementation of Customer technical and drafting Standards.
Ensure integrity and quality of the design / review work and deliverables
Coordination with designers and engineers of other disciplines.
Maintaining records of all deliverables.
Drafting & detailing of electrical scheme, physical layout, cable layout, earthing layout & Panel drawing of Multi storied buildings,
Procurement Initiation & follow up of materials like floating of enquiry, opening of Tenders
Preparation of Techno-Commercial Evaluation and Recommendations
Carrying out the negotiation with the Vendors
Preparation of Purchase Order along with specifications
Preparation of Sub Contractors’ Bill
Generation and establishing of Project Calendars, Monthly Progress and Weekly Project Progress Reports
Drafting & detailing of electrical scheme, physical layout, cable layout, earthing layout & Panel drawing of the factory building.
Design & drafting of electrical scheme, cable layout, earthing layout, Lightning Protection Scheme, Fault level calculation etc of EHV substations.
4 years of experience in the Preparation of Tender Documents, Bill of Quantities, Costing & Estimation of Power Transformers and sales follow up of the same.
