Responsible of carrying out the DCS panel activities for safe and optimum operation of the plant as per standard operating procedures. Preparing unit for initial start up and shut down activities. Plant Emergency handling. Looking after all field and panel operation in SRU, TGTU, ATU, WWSU, GAS SWEETING UNIT, SPU, ACID GAS FLARE on rotation basis, Operating with FOXBORO I/A series DCS. Knowledge on emergency handling in blower trip, stripper absorbers upset. Rotoformer’s shutdown. Knowledge of different type of controllers PT, TT, FT, LT preventive maintenance done. Generating and maintaining various checklists such as safety checklists and following different types of Work Permits. Taking all measures for maintaining very good standards of good housekeeping and safety shut down jobs lists. Plant start up and shut down safely and economically from field & DCS. Handling and trouble shooting of various types of pumps including turbine pumps and compressors and all types of rotating equipments. Supervise the jobs related to all equipment and monitor and ensure their performance for optimum and safe operation of the plant. Preparing, updating, maintaining and following Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures for all jobs. Identification of unsafe, hazardous condition and reporting to concerned and taking preventive and protective measure applicable and use of fire fighting and safety equipments and fire, smoke, gas detection systems. Handling emergency shut-down of plant and equipment.Pump trials, instrumentation alarm/trip system and Logic checking, Running of pumps and blowers, Motors and electrical systems Checks, Inspection of vessels, Purging/inertization and System Leak of piping and equipment Handling of hazardous Chems./ Gases - SO3, SO2, MCB, H2SO4, MDEA, CO(g), H2S(g), CO2 (g), NH3(g), etc. Interface directly with Shift Supritendant & Various Technical Department, Laboratory & in emergency with Production Manager. Prepare and Follow PTW process.

Keep regular track of Finished Products, Inventory and WIP. Computer data entry for all log sheets & production with time cycle analysis.
Pro-active-trouble shooting & minimize down time by means of effective co-ordination with other departments.
Control on avoiding rejection / recycling of the material during the shift.
To minimize downtime and to solve problems by means of effective communications with other departments.
Decision making, planning, trouble shooting, team work, co-ordination.
House-keeping of the entire plant during shift duty.
Maintain plant records of the shift.
Worked on DCS system.
Handling the Distillation column & Synthesis Section (incl. PFR, Absorber, Stripper, etc.).
