1- Renovation of Roads & Landscape In MODA in Jeddah. with Total of 8 millions Saudi Riyals.
My Duties and tasks as Project Manager:
- agreeing project objectives.
- representing the client's or organisation's interests.
- providing advice on the management of projects.
- organizing the various professional people working on a project.
- carrying out risk assessment.
- making sure that all the aims of the project are met.
- making sure the quality standards are met.
- using IT systems to keep track of people and progress.
- recruiting specialists and sub-contractors.
- monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained.
- overseeing the accounting, costing and billing.
General Construction Co. with third classification on Government Projects.
Projects Involved :
1-King Abdullah Project for Developing Security & Police Facilities in southern province with total of 170 millions saudi riyals.
2-Construction The trainees Housing of Technical Colleges for girls in Almadinah Almonawarah with total of 64 millions saudi riyals.
3- The Expansion of Dammam University Project, Construction of Admin Science College & Engineering College buildings. with total build up area 17, 000 sq.m
4- Tanajib Facilities Area ( Saudi Aramco ) Project, Construction of 4 housing buildings with total build up area 15, 000 sq.m
5- King Fahd University of petroleum and minerals Project, Construction of 23 student housing buildings with total build up area 130, 000 sq.m
My Duties and tasks as Cost & Quality Control Manager:
1. Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work.
2. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
3. Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
4. Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, etc.
5. Support other department personnel as required may include preparing estimates in other disciplines.
6. May review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials.
The Company is a contractor for Oil & Gas pipeline with Saudi Aramco,
my job as Project Coordinator is to:
1- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the day to day duties of a project’s administration.
2-Working closely under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent.
3-Assist in plan and spec analysis in order to provide clear, trackable and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.
4-Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences and errors/omissions.
5. Act as liaison with subcontractors in expediting drawings and related information.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner etc.), track responses and advise the Project Manager and Superintendent of the status of RFIs.
7. Obtain quotations for Notices of Change.
8. Coordinate submittals and procure all close-out documents including warranties and Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
9. Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.
10. Participate in the continuous updating and accurate generation of as-built documents.
11. Assist with the research and preparation of field change requests to resolve design issues. Conduct quality control activities in accordance with instructions, inspection programs, using specified control measuring and testing equipment.
12. Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work as required.
13. Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with on-site policy and procedures, including tracking and creating of RFIs, transmitting and tracking of submittals, compose agreements, and maintain project expediting list.
14. Attend project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required.
The Company is a contractor for Fiber Optic Cables Network for MODA & STC.
