Oversee and manage the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers,

Conducting the social assessment;
 Assist the engineer in signing MOUs between beneficiaries and landlords;
 Assist the engineer in following up on the project.
 Knowledge in shelter needs (engineering - houses’ rehabilitation background).

Planning and monitoring the WASH and Shelter related activities;
 Revision and elaboration of technical documents related to the implementation of WASH and
Shelter’s activities;
 Monitoring and supervision of the implementation of the works;
 Participating in elaboration of Tender documents, offers requests and any other documents related
to the execution of works and/or supplies foreseen in the project;
 Participating in Technical Evaluation of the offers received in a procurement procedure, in
accordance with the award criteria listed in the solicitation documents;
 Identification and need assessments in the sectors WASH and SHELTER, 

Perform site visits and provision of needs assessment and measurements and technical assistance,
including drafting the technical document for the preparation/finalization of the WASH and Shelter
Rehabilitation works;
 Provide BOQs with specifications and drawings/details when needed respecting the given standards;
 Prepare cost estimations for the proposed works and make sure that they all fit within the allocated
budgets;
 Support to Procurement activities (including preparation of technical specifications and Bill of
Quantities for supply and workscontracts);

Setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
 Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;

Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
 Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or
architect;
 Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the
general workforce involved in theproject;
 Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including
attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
 Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the
work of any subcontractors;
 Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed
deadlines;
 Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
 Preparing reports as required;
 Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
 Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the
client;
 Assisting in establishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
 Advising on procurement strategy;
 Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders;

Valuing completed work and arranging payments;

ERM (Wash) Field officer (Area of project from zahrani to akkar)
 The project is a rehabilitation of water supply and sanitation in the bathrooms and kitchens and install the
sanitation from shelter toseptic tank or municipality network

 Supervise the installation and construction of infrastructures by respecting the design and required
quality of the works (technical specifications and methodology)
 Carry out the assessment, design and implementation of the ERM activities
 Ensure the follow-up and the proper use of materials and tools used during on-site works
 Direct implementation of WASH activities; mainly sanitation and water supply activities
 Manage the supply of materials to the work site in collaboration with logistic department.
 Collect all information and provide written/orally reports on the progress of ERM activities.
 The end of the extension of the sewage of two camps for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the first camp of 30
families, and the secondcamp includes nearly 120 families.
2. Shelter Emergency and Rehabilitation field office (Area of project Beirut and Mount
Lebanon)
 The project is the rehabilitation of buildings in terms of sanitation and structure and construction
of building.
 AutoCAD design
 Daily visit to units under rehabilitation to assess quality and quantity of work done.
 Ensure field level monitoring of the quality of all works implemented within the scope of the
project.
 Report immediately on achievements or difficulties faced to the direct supervisor.
 Validate the Bill of Quantities done from shelter visits and follow up on the progress of works
implementation
