Directly responsible for carrying out the following Finance and Accounting Tasks:
- General Ledger - Reporting and Accounts Reconciliation
- Asset Register - Addition, Deletion, Disposal and Monthly Depreciation Calculation.
- Payroll - in conjunction with HR update Payroll File.
- Audit and File Filing - Provide financial and administrative support to internal/external financial auditors; and tax consultants.
- Management and Regional Reporting - Provide Management and Corporate Reports to local and Regional Management as and when required.
- Other Responsibilities: Include Vacation Coverage, Conduct Annual Employee Performance Reviews of direct employees.
- Internal Control Policies and Procedures: Adhere to the internal control policies of the company at the local, regional and Global Levels.
- Ensure accurate posting of accounting entries in journal and general ledger.
- Preparation of monthly trial balances, analysis statements and final accounts.
- Supervise preparation of monthly and annual inventory.
- Follow up on accounts receivable and settlement of accounts payable.
- Supervise accurate preparation of payment vouchers, receipt vouchers and journal entry vouchers.
- Supervise payment of wages and salaries.
- Follow up on submission of prepared cheques (in accordance with payment vouchers) to the authorized signatory.
- Follow up on preparation of monthly bank statements.
- Maintain an organized filing system for branch accounts and transactions and integrate them with the company accounts.
- Submit weekly and monthly financial reports to higher management.
- Prepare an annual budget and plan monthly cash flows accordingly; submit budget to management for review.
- Follow up on accurate entries for addition, deletion & depreciation of fixed assets; manage balancing of depreciation allocation and accumulated depreciations.
- Prepare necessary records, entry vouchers, forms and otherprints. Delegation of tasks among accountants to effectively achieve financial objectives.
-Submission of reports and comparative analysis of data as per needs.
- Review documents to assure integrity and accuracy.
- Supervise accuracy of data from the treasurer on a daily basis.
- Follow up on company debts (if any).
Mahatta Flour Mill Company is a leading Jordanian company specialized in producing different flour products with strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Trading and Industry. Main duties include:
- Preparing all financial reports, such as the balance sheet, profit and loss results, income statement, etc.
- Preparing detailed product costs based on actual expenses, sales, stock records, and varying flour costs.
- Preparing periodic sales analysis reports with recommendations and suggestions aimed at supporting the financial position of the company.
- Supervising a specialized financial team, ranging from stock keepers, cash officers, and accountants.
- Negotiating with strategic partners regarding shipments, payment schedules, and allowable credit limits.

- Preparing periodic cash flow reports to schedule accrued payments.
- Coordinating with relevant financial institutions and internal accountants to execute due transfers to Samsungs regional office in Dubai.
- Collecting payments from the sales team and preparing detailed sales analysis reports.
- Following-up on credit issues and scheduling the due dates in coordination with internal accountants.
- Supervising the internal financial team and supporting them as necessary.
