Hands on experience in Food Safety, Health & Safety Hazard identification and Risk Assessment.
Good Communicational & Interpersonal and analytical skills.
Auditing, Inspection, training and coaching skills.
Working knowledge of various departments in the hotel & food manufacturing industry.
Effective and in-depth knowledge of food microbiology with specific ability to analyze & investigate food poisoning related claims and allegations.
Ability to deal effectively with all team members and guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger and collect accurate information.
Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing in order to ascertain and document important information.
In-depth knowledge of use and handling of Chemicals pertaining to the Industry, with major emphasis on concepts like CO-SHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health)
Well versed with technical knowledge to interpret scientific data from Microbiological tests on food, water & Contact surfaces.
Well versed with GCC standards on Food Microbiological Analysis and Water Parameter tests (e.g. Total dissolved salts, pH & Chlorine levels at the final point of use.
Proficiency in the ability to use a variety of programs on the computer in order to prepare correspondence, policies, procedures, work instruction manuals, produce reports and presentations and communicate via email.
Visual ability to observe team members in the work place, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to both team member and guest behaviors.
Responsible fro executing daily calibrations and daily chemical tests
Following up production lines to ensure SOP Quality standards implementation
