• Responsible for directing the whole activities of MEP department within the organization, from tender stage, Engineering, Procurement “if required”, Commercial study, Negotiation with Sub Contractors, Variation Orders, Value Engineering and Claims, Manage all MEP team work to ensure that, all business goals and objectives are reached.

Lead a group of electrical and mechanical engineers and MEP subcontractors to ensure that:
- Technical submittals, work shop drawings, method statement and material submittals are complying with the project contract document.
- MEP work carried out as per approved shop drawing within the time frame and approved construction program.
- Monitor and control the performance of MEP team work on site and technical office.
- Liaise with other department’s heads and projects manager to plan for project improvement and control.
- Coordinate with planning department to prepare packages time schedules and activities breakdown.
- Review, monitor and control MEP technical submittals & procurement requirements.
- Review subcontractor's quotations / offers along with proposed value engineering during tender stage (technical and financial).
- Review subcontractor's payments, claims and compensation events (Variations).
- Attending project meetings (Client, Technical, Progress, Procurement, Sub-contractors and Coordination Meetings) with Client representative, the Project Management and Project’s Consultants.

Monitor, control and evaluate designer consultant and contractor performance.

Main Tasks:
- start with land selection and study the electrical facilities available/required to proceed with buy decision.
- Coordinate with the general manager to define the electrical facilities required for each project and design criteria.
- Coordinate with the projects manager to review / monitor the progress in design work during each stage of design (design concept, design development, design for tender and design for construction).
- Monitor, control and evaluate contractors, supervisor consultant and project manager performance.
- Monitor technical and commercial issues in relation to electrical departement.
- Contact authorities and municipality to issue building permits and electrical licenses.
