Provide engineering requirements expressions point to point Transmission: Microwaves type, Frequency, Polarization, link budget etc…

Provide engineering requirements expression for Swap/Insertion/Integration of PTN (Packet Transport Network) along the access network

Provide engineering requirements for Mobile backhauling FTTH through NCC transport Network (VLANs, transmission links...)

The objective of my internship :

Study of different solutions on Mobile Backhaul Ethernet available on FTTH, SHDSL and Microwave links supports and the impact of the introduction of these new devices on the network including the management of QOS that allow these new transportation technologies and synchronization constraints

System administration : notions of root-servers, static DNS notion, configuration and development, Interaction with DHCP in addition to its configuration, interaction with Bind9 and the Squid proxy Configuration, ACL management, design Security using IPSec, configuring Apache2 web server and Asterisk VoIP server using Trixbox

Network infrastructure : for external access I worked on the implementation of IP routing and Routers: IP Forwarding, implementation of BGP routing protocols for international access, encrypting VoIP traffic through a tunnel, translation and address masking through net filter, IP tables configuration, I mastered Static route and BGP routing protocols, VPN connection and tunnelling and encrypting traffic with IPSec.

Radio frequency systems :pointing satellite dishes type C-Band and Ku-Band

OSI, TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Network Basic Command (Ping, ARP, and Netstat), and Packet Sniffing in Wire shark

Configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and IPS network in addition to VLAN, WLAN, LAN switching

An overview over Firewall access, email, FTP and MTC network

I carried out Installation and configurations of BlackBerry systems

Concerning system administration I had an overview on an Active Directory, exchange management, SAN, explaining clustering configuration and load Balancing in addition to Backup system explanation, Blade servers, configuration management, operation management and tape library
