* Follow Plan daily activities according to QatarEnergy - LNG, CTJV and Metito (Overseas) Qatar Procedures.
* Assistant the Scada and PLC Operator.
* Controlling and monitoring the flow and pressure of sewage water and treated water.
* Adjust the level for all tanks on the side of the plant.
* Monitoring the dosing pumps of chemical additive ((NaHCo3) and (NaHcl)) and blower pumps to Control the percentage of DISSOLVED OXYGEN (DO), CHOLRINE and PH in the Treatment process.
* Monitoring sand filters normal operation and backWash process.
* Switch running/standby equipment.
* Monitoring Static and Rotating equipment, normal operation, start-ups, shutdown, emergency shutdown and Preparation for maintenance.
* Adjust flow localy after contact with SCADA Operator.
* Patrol inspection to increase all equipment are running normally.
* Cleaning strainer and housekeeping for equipment.
* Preparation Chemical additives like NaHCo3 and NaHcl.
* Conducting the PH and sludge volum (SV) Tests for sewage water and treated water.
* Collecting the water samples for lab testing.
* Record in logsheet the equipment parameters from side and panel screen.
* Fire watcher and Confind space intering monitor.
* Full Combine to HSE practices and procedures.
TASKS PERFORMED
* Dispatch the catalyst after contact with the DCS monitor.
* Collect the distillation gases (fractionation components) and do the GC tests and fill the report form and report to the distillation monitor.
* Collect the propylene samples from (crude propylene tank) and (tower of refined propylene) and make (Purity) tests using GC tests and report to the distillation monitor.
* Conducting Sulphur and Moisture tests and report to distillation monitor.
* Collect powder polypropylene samples from flash kettles after each reaction when ordered by the DCS monitor, prepare the samples, do the test MFR, record it in the record book and report immediately to the DCS monitor.
* Collect the Explosive gas sample from one flash kettle after each reaction when ordered by the DCS monitor, do the GC test and report immediately to the DCS monitor.
* Collect final product samples from the production line at drier, do the MFR (Multi flow rate) test, record it in the record book and report the result immediately to the palletizing (granulation) unit operator.
* Measure the percentage of Oxygen in the main line of Nitrogen using and record it in the record book.
* Preparation the samples that using in physical test by using extruder machine.
* Conducting all physical tests to polypropylene like (Tensile, Flexural modulus, Pendulum impact, HDT and Density determination).
* Check the weight of packed polypropylene final product in digital balance.
* Test the inflammable gas value in the packing area (inside the bag during packing operation).
* Conducting all gas test, that required to all permit to work (PTW) documentation.
* Wash the catalyst bottles after feeding and keep them cool and dry for next shift.
* Clean the catalyst balance and box carefully before handing over shift put the empty bottles outside the box and keep all of the room clean.
* Enter all of the data in the laboratory computer.
* Report any abnormal result to the laboratory engineer or laboratory manager immediately and write any abnormal phenomenon in the handover - takeover log clearly.
* Keep whole laboratory clean and in a good condition.
* Executing all tasks based on SOP’s.
Practical Experience:
In Unit:
• Distillation Unit (Refinery) To Separate Propylene (C3H6) from LPG.
• Propylene Refining Unit For Purity Propylene.
• Polymerization Unit To Convert Propylene Gas Into Polypropylene By Using Batch
Reactor.
TASKS PERFORMED
* Follow plant daily activities & follows the panel (DCS) operator’s / shift supervisor’s instructions.
* Continuously monitors and accurately records data of the condition of static & rotating equipment’s during the shift period.
* Responsible for local operation, inspection and supervision of the equipment.
* Responsible for carrying out equipment’s normal operation, shut down, start up and emergency shutdown.
* Patrol inspection and monitoring equipment operation & ensure that rotating equipment are running normally and properly lubricated
* Record local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice.
* Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming and other
procedures as required.
* Preparation of chemical additive and monitors chemical and loading / unloading of raw materials
* Conducts patrol inspections on time and performs extra inspections during abnormal circumstances.
* Collect samples of various streams and delivers them to the laboratory.
* Responsible for checking around the field before and after handover.
* Responsible for field and shift room housekeeping.
* Writing and reading of hand over book.
* Switch running / standby equipment.
* Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance to health, safety and environment practices and procedures
* Complied with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as company policies.
* Executing all tasks based on SOP’s.
