Main Duties:
• Undertakes the responsibility of implementing a proper safety loss prevention program and undertakes all loss prevention activities for Non-Motor Department at ARABIA Branches in Sharjah, Dubai, Al Ain & Abu Dhabi in addition to Gateway International Assurance (Agent for Arabia Insurance Company).
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conducts Loss Prevention inspections/ surveys for existing and prospective clients in coordination with the Head Office Non-Motor Manager and submits the report simultaneously to both, the Non-Motor Manager and concerned Branch Manager and Non-Motor Team, who send a copy of the Risk Improvement Recommendations to client, if applicable.
• Conducts Follow-up Loss Prevention Inspections/ Surveys as pre requirement of the Head Office Non-Motor Manager and in coordination with the concerned Branch Manager and Non-Motor Team, who send an updated copy of the recommendations, if any to client.
• Providing detailed Risk Assessment Report (Narrative Report) including (but not limited to) the Probable Maximum Loss (PML) & Estimated Maximum Loss (EML), in addition to detailed description of premises which assists in the Underwriting & Reinsurance process.
• Conducts visits for clients to explain and clarify the requested Risk Improvement Recommendations, if requested by the concerned branch.
• Builds and maintains a safety library of related reference books in the needed areas of concern.
• Training and Sharing Information with other colleagues on the same department at ARABIA Offices in other Gulf Countries.
• Supervise and monitor technical staff and drivers in carrying out their assignments successfully.
• Maintain pre-operation and preventive maintenance, and conduct periodic maintenance checks.
• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns.
• Establish productive maintenance plan which maintain flexibility for the need of agriculture equipment for each site in time.
• Identify faults and investigate equipment breakdowns and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.
• Plan agriculture equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure safe operation for all of the heavy and electromechanical equipment such as (Tractors, Excavators, Generator sets, Pumps, Center Pivots).
• Oversee the operation of the agricultural equipment such as (Cultivators, Disk Plough, Seeder, Harvesters, Square Balers and Compost Turners).
• Responsible for the correction of equipment's problems causing repetitive failures.
• Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning conditions, actions taken or required, results obtained, maintenance recommendations, repair problems, malfunction data and required spare parts.
• Responsible for start-up marketing and advertisement strategy.
• Maintain quality control for customer service contacting procedures by phone, SMS, and printed flyers.
• Management of customer relationships and frequently serve as a liaison between technicians and customers.
• Maintain professional communication with customers to obtain high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure optimum level of productivity from the maintenance team.
• Maintain the organization of warehouse and the availability of spare parts.
• Maintain the quality of the maintenance procedures.
• Maintain communication with GM headquarter to share new ideas that may contribute to improve workshop operations.
• Audit financial reports such as expenses and income reports.
• Carrying out other occasional duties related to the scope of the project as assigned.
• Working as member within Chinese team consists of 4 persons.
• Carrying out engine overhauling for Mitsubishi Diesel Engines used in CoolTech® generator sets.
• Identifying failures, making adjustments, assisting on trial runs, and testing of mechanical installations according to specifications for YUCHAI Diesel Engines used in Chinese JINBEI Microbus.
• Performing mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning of installations.
• Performs scheduled maintenance inspections and repairs for JINBEI Microbus.
• Providing work reports, and performing maintenance audits.
• Answer incoming calls from customers to answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, and provide information.
• Identify and escalate priority issues.
• Follow up customer calls where necessary.
• Supervise and monitor technical staff and drivers in carrying out their assignments successfully.
• Maintain pre-operation and preventive maintenance.
• Performs scheduled maintenance inspections and repairs as directed in the maintenance manual.
• Ensure safe operation for all of the heavy and electromechanical equipment such as (Tractors, Excavators, Generator sets, Pumps, Center Pivots).
• Supervise the operation of the agricultural equipment such as (Cultivators, Disk Plough, Seeder, Harvesters, Square Balers and Compost Turners).
• Responsible for the correction of equipment problems causing repetitive failures.
• Prepare and forward accurate reports concerning conditions, actions taken or required, results obtained, maintenance recommendations, repair problems and malfunction data.
• As a member of the maintenance team.
• Maintain periodical preventive maintenance schedule and carry out duties mentioned therein in coordination with production supervisor and process engineer.
• Responsible for mechanical maintenance technicians.
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the maintenance manager.
