Consulting Services for Programme implementation in Qena and Assiut (Lot A)
Activities performed:
• Coordinate the project daily and liaise with the governorate and local authorities.
• Manage the interface with the governorate throughout the project phases.
• Support the SWMU in implementing tasks defined and scheduled by the experts.
• Organize and support the experts in delivering training and on-the-job training to SWMU members and heads of the governorate's districts.
• Manage the Qena and Assiut offices and be responsible for the supporting staff.
• Report to the PMU and liaise on technical aspects between the SWMU/governorate and the PMU.
• Support the TL in developing key reports (ISWM Options reports, strategic Masterplan report, ISWM Masterplan, etc.).
• Define the operation plan for delivered equipment within the Immediate measures phase in collaboration with the experts.
• Support the procurement department at Qena Governorate for tendering, evaluating offers, and implementing procurement.
• Provide technical support to SWMUs in SWM (collection, treatment, and disposal).

• Responsible for tracking all project activities. This includes monitoring the progress of the project, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Communicating with municipalities. This includes maintaining regular contact with the municipalities involved in the project, providing updates on the project's progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Direct contact with all project departments and receiving reports. This includes receiving reports from all project departments, reviewing the reports, and providing feedback to the departments.
• Daily field follow-up visits for the whole project phases. This includes visiting the project site on a daily basis to ensure that the project is progressing as planned and to identify any potential problems.
• Reporting to the CEO of the company about the current situation and the development of the project. This includes providing regular updates to the CEO on the project's progress, any challenges that have been encountered, and any recommendations for improvement.

Activities performed:
• Supervise civil works on-site and report to the German partners TIA GmbH and GIZ. This includes ensuring that the civil works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, monitoring the progress of the works, and reporting any issues to the German partners.
• Support the installation of the electro-mechanical components of the system. This includes providing technical assistance to the installers, ensuring that the components are installed correctly, and testing the system to ensure that it is operational.
• Coordinate between the partners TIA, GIZ, and HCWW (Holding Company for Water and Wastewater). This includes communicating with the partners about the project's progress, resolving any issues that arise, and ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Train the engineers and technicians of HCWW for O&M of the plant. This includes providing training on the operation and maintenance of the plant, ensuring that the engineers and technicians are familiar with the plant's operating procedures, and troubleshooting any problems that may arise.
