* Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules

* Estimate, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the MEP Manager for approval prior to execution at site.

* Manage directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site.

* Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all Mechanical groups at site.

* Support the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at site.

* Ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.

* Ensure that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.

* Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipment installation activities

* Attend regular meeting with client, civil engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress.

* Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time

* collaborate with cost control and planning department in preparing the daily progress reports

* Perform other related duties as may be required by the MEP Manager.

WETICO is a leading construction company in water treatment field. I was a member of a Mechanical Design team for:
Pipeline network for water treatment plants.
Pipeline material selection as per water specs.
(Carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC … etc).
Air Pipelines (Installation, & Fabrication).
Designing all the mechanical systems which used in water treatment as Clarifier mechanism, mechanical screen ...etc.
Develop all the designs by studying the feedback from the production and installation technicians & making modifications so we can use for the next projects.
Example: we develop the steel structure of the RO skid which was over design which saves about 40% of its cost.
Directing and managing the on-site team, including contractors. (in urgent cases as per the project conditions).

Al Ojemy is a panel board factory producing package substation, unit substation and electrical panel board as per the factory standard design which is approved from SEC and other ministries.
i hired as a Production Engineer but after nearly a year and based on my experience in Egypt i moved to design to cover the shortage in the design

Work Description: (Production)

Plan and coordinate with the Factory Manager the production schedule on a weekly bases.

Plan and coordinate with the production supervisors the production processes on daily basis.

Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives. (using stud welding instead of welding bolts)

Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.

Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.

Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.

Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.

Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.

Work Description: (Sheet metal Design)

Make Designs of different package substation, unit substation, and panel board.

Create nested files and adding punching tools through the CAM program of the punching machine and generating the files (with the G-codes of the machine) for Punching Machine ( Finn Power & Tai Lift ) and Plasma Machine.

Creating drawings for the products and different parts drawing of the products showing the bending and how to be assembled together.

Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability. (We develop all the unit substations designs by changing the method of fabrication and assembling by using bolts instead of using welding. It made an increase of the production more than double of its capacity as a result of reducing the time of fabrication plus reducing the number of welders.

Collecting data for the imported product or machine
Disassembling the product, take all the measurements and getting the dimensions.
Understanding the relation between each part.
Making drawings for each part and the assembly drawings for the product.
Making modifications to meet the available methods of manufacturing.
Contact the manufacturers to create prototype.
Check the prototype and modify any defects or - if there is a better idea - make development of the product using " AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor programs
