•Simultaneously directing and guiding numerous complex and high-value projects, from inception to completion, leading teams of Technicians, designers and engineers.
•Directing tasks to a multi-disciplined team of workers and third party providers, where necessary, providing technical guidance and training to non-technical workers, including guidance for maintenance crews during breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting
•Responsible for monitoring and review of project progress and reporting, overseeing budget management and cost control
•Making use of knowledge and skills in designing automated production lines and machines and programming various types of PLCs and HMIs
•Fundamentally responsible for mechanical design verification. pneumatic design and Bill Of Material (BOM) precreation's, electrical wiring design and BOM preparations
•Overseeing mechanical moulds and tools manufacturing and assembly, wiring assembly instructions, programming and commissioning PLCs and HMIs, completing internal trials and end user testing
Key Projects:
•Integrated Security System: Essentially accountable as a Project Manager for Client management, Project scheduling, planning, documentation, procurement and execution. The project summary scope was to design, procure, construct, install, test and commission an integrated security system including doors electronic Access Control System (ACS), and Intrusion Detection and Assessment System (IDAS) for HCIS Class-1 Oil Refinery plant perimeter
•Semi-Automatic Resistance Spot Welding Machines: Essentially accountable for designing, sourcing, procuring, assembling and programming manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic welding machines throughout integrating rotary index tables, feeders and paste dispensing systems; carrying out a fine-tuned and accurate welding process for breakers magnetic and thermal trip mechanisms using Single Phase Alternating Current (SPAC), Medium Frequency AC (MFAC) and MFDC welding sources
•Switches and Sockets Assembly Machines: making expert use of ASI, Ethernet and Profibus communication technologies to link PLCs to feeding systems, rotary indexing tables, Auto screw drivers, Conveyors and printers in up to 50 station electro-pneumatic processes
•Spiral CFL Assembly and Printing Machines: conducting final assembly process design and PLC programming for crimping, soldering, wire cutting and printing of both logo and specifications automatically on Compact Fluorescent(Energy Saving) Lamps(CFL)
•Automatic Riveting Machines: playing a critical role using pin/rivet feeders along with rotary indexers and pneumatic cylinders with precise force follow up mechanisms and measurements to process impact and orbital riveting to circuit breakers, switches, terminals and load centres
•Smart Testing Fixtures and Units: Implementing of a variety of testing machines for many products; smart switches, switched sockets, CFL lamps, breakers and PCB's
•Plants Power Arrangement: Drawing and designing Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for new plants and updating SLDs for existing plants in addition to BOM Preparation for distribution panels, load centres, cables and trays
