Responsible for the highly classified EPC project “Safe Net Barrier” in Jeddah, KSA, dealing with a Royal esteemed client.
Scheduling work, billing client, estimating costs, ordering equipment and supplies and adjusting each stage of the project to meet time and budget targets.
Define scope of works and revise technical submittals prepared by the offshore and onshore engineering departments to ascertain compliance with the prevailing rules and regulations.
Managing and supervising the implementation of the project installations onshore and offshore.
Ensuring safety standards and quality of workmanship.
Preparing the performance status reports and reporting to the client and their consultants.
Control of expenditures and supervise the running cost and propose solutions to control expenditures with the allocated budget.
Administer the functionality and performance of the Safe Net Barrier system.
Revise and approve the monthly statements.
Supervise and control the installation and maintenance issues of the project.
Immediate responding to the client calls for troubleshooting, supervise and control fixing any malfunctioning.
Prepare the monthly progress report and audit activities together with the financial statements to the main office in Sweden
Scheduling, coordinating and directing engineering activities of EPC project "Safe Barrier System".
Coordinating, scheduling and supervising civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation design activities with the design office in Sweden.
Provides technical supervision for the construction and installation works of the Safe Net Barrier Project.
Revision of submittals of different disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) and verifying their constructability.
Continuous contact with the technical office for coordination between all disciplines.
Coordinating with the project QA/QC for engineering matters.
o The works composed of construction of an integrated underwater security system composed of, in addition to underwater alarmed net and surveillance system, an access jetty using steel sheet piles, dredging access channel in coral by rock dredger, driving tubular steel piles of 813 mm of length up to 45m, excavation inside the piles up to depth 6.5m below the seabed, underwater concreting inside the piles, leveling the seabed, constructing a submerged breakwater and shore line protection in highly wave exposed area with armor rocks, construction of operation and machinery buildings in addition to the command and control center, electrical and instrumentation offshore and onshore piping, cabling, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installations in all the project buildings and the interconnection between the buildings as well as connecting the whole system to the duty officer’s office for continuous monitoring and possible operations as well as necessary counter measures.
Planning and control of dredging operations.
Hydrographic Surveying and preparing the Bathymetric charts of Suez Canal and its ports (Port Said and Suez)
Performing underwater sounding and calculating quantities of material to be dredged / reclaimed.
Performing tests to determine sources of dredging materials.
Supervising the erection of pipelines for discharging the dredged materials.
Supervising the construction of the sedimentation basins.
Pre and post hydrographic survey and Bathymetric charts of Damietta and Al-Dekheila (west Alexandria) ports in Egypt.
Over the last 10 months I have been directly involved in the supervision of KELLER GRUNDBAU www.kellergrundbau.com
(German Company) in underwater Vibro-compacting of the subsoil to enable the construction of new quay walls in Al-Dekheila port.
Working on site undertaking the Vibro-Grouting operations and the construction of plastic concrete permanent Diaphragm walls up to 50m depth in the New ESNA Barrage in Upper Egypt.
Duties mainly involved surveying and setting out of the excavation of panels, desanding, and pouring of plastic concrete.
QA/QC of the excavation bentonite mud and the plastic concrete.

• Duties mainly involved the surveying and setting out of dredging, sheet
piling, backfilling, and concreting.
• Setting out the concrete foundations and superstructure of the custom
