Group Human Resources and Administration Manager The group operates in the following fields:
Foodstuff and Catering: 12 restaurants with different cuisine types
Furniture showrooms: 6 luxurious furniture showrooms
E-commerce: perfumes, cosmetics, accessories and fashion Kuwait, Dubai and India
Medical sector: Dental Center, Medical supplies
Media, Distribution and Production: one company with 35% of market share
Contracting and MEP : 3 companies in Public and oil/gas sectors with 6 Government projects
Education : TDI Institute
Major Responsibilities:
-Manage the overall provision and services of Admin & HR dept. Develop, review, and implement the full range of Admin & HR strategies, systems, plans, procedures, policies and employee relations
-Developed an overall talent acquisition and recruitment strategy and procedures including workforce planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, development, performance management and succession
-Ensure that Admin & HR Business Processes (Recruitment and Selection, HR Planning, Talent Management and Capacity Development, Performance Management, organization development, personal Records, Employee Relations, compensation and benefits, Government relations, legal formalities and Admin Services) are properly embedded within the group.
-Maintain historical human resource records by designing the filing and retrieval system
-Verify and approve all employment offers and contracts ensuring that all compensation and benefits related matters are in compliance with group policy and standards.
-Developed the procedures and policies for employment status changes, salary increases, promotions or transfer within the group.
-Managing all government relations for the Group including Licenses, registrations and visas/residencies formalities and identify legal requirements to mitigate risk and loss
-Lead the annual planning process including budgeting, resources mobilization and evaluate the efficiency and utilization to ensure departmental objectives are attained in proper techniques.
-Established a new Salary Structure and grades system to ensure market competitiveness and maintain the employees’ retention.
-Developing and Administer Admin & HR Policies and procedures related to Compensations and benefits, recruitment, retention, safety, health, and morale
-Validate and approve the monthly payroll sheets and other payments related to vacations, indemnity, overtime allowances and governmental fees.
-Developed and implemented the disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with business needs and Investigate incidence of violations
-Manage all employee relations activities in terms of grievance and disciplinary actions through solving disputes between employees for minor and major misconducts. Conducts investigations as needed to -Advise, guide, educate and support employees and business units heads with Admin & HR Policies, related issues as well as labor law and government regulations and formalities
-Developed appraisal and evaluation system to assess the staff performance and development
-Oversee Personnel : Induction, retention, recognition, disciplinary measures, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, development and administration of personnel rules and regulations
-Supervise employees’ social activities (sports activities, gatherings, camping and appreciation ceremonies and managed the group accommodation and facilities
-Negotiate, initiate contracts with insurance companies, suppliers, property leasing and maintenance.
- Initiate, approve and review purchasing process
- Manage the delivery of the HR processes at the Business Units level., ensuring they have the necessary organization, resources and capabilities to meet their business goals
- Assist line managers and provide them with the needed tools to help them in managing their teams
Ensure management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review
