- Maintains updated employment files and database to document personnel actions.
- Assists in recruitment, inclusive of advertising, receiving applications, coordinating interview schedules, and maintaining all records related to recruitment and employment.
- Assists in designing the induction and orientation program for the new employees.
- Participates in preparation of annual training plan.
- Answers a variety of general inquiries from staff and potential employees regarding Human Resource issues and concerns.
- Provides a variety of administrative and/or secretarial activities that support the Human Resource functions.

- Prepares correspondence, reports or other documents from rough drafts; prepare agendas, meeting materials, notices, policies and procedures and other documentation requiring application of a specialized knowledge.
- Establishes and maintain a records management system (hard copy and electronic records).
- Liaises with a wide range of internal staff and external contacts.
- Prepares reports and presentations, seeking out operating information and compiling it for analysis and follow-up.
