• Overseeing the Material Resources Planning (MRP) System of Boeing to remove excess purchase requisitions of airplane parts, and improve procurement’s needs. This saves Boeing over $2 millions of working capital costs.
• Conducting investigation processes with Inventory Planners for root causes of excess inventory.
• Negotiating with the suppliers terms of cancellations and reimbursements, and mitigating returns exposure
• Conducting part optimization analyses with several airline customers to sell acceptably-used inventory in a FIFO method to repurpose unused parts. This saves Boeing a $1 million annually.
• Evaluating the MRP Control practices and recommending changes to the leadership and Enterprise Technology teams to streamline the reports. Upon approval, I decreased the number of necessary reports by 95% and saved 10 hours of labor per week
• Reviewing part sales history and demand forecast to create purchase requisitions for more critical parts, achieve optimal fill rate, avoid stock outs, maximize profit, and support production demand.
• Providing data-based status reports on parts through communication and feedback to internal and external parties and solve issues whenever needed
• Monitoring performance metrics, performing trend analysis, and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement and better Supply Chain strategies
• Developing training documentation for newly hired Inventory Planners
• Received Boeing Excellence Performance Award for working independently and in cross-functional teams on the critical “Cable Interchangeability Project”.
• Being the point of reference for the entire the Supply Chain in front of the customer.
• Managing orders and customer requirements including receiving, processing, and providing order receipt confirmation and continuous updates on the orders.
• Investigating compliance issues and implementing corrective actions to avoid future occurrence
• Routinely interact with sales, finance, marketing, logistics, and regulatory teams to answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Performing regular calls and meetings with the customers, soliciting and tracking customer feedback and conducting customer surveys to find ways for customer services improvement.
