As a freelance director, producer, scriptwriter and video editor, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several TV shows, documentaries, TV commercials and corporate videos. Some of the more interesting projects have been:
Associate Producer, on Abu Dhabi Week TV (IFE show):
The official in-flight news and entertainment show on board all aircrafts of Etihad Airways; with an estimated viewership of 1 million passengers each month, this 30-minute monthly tourism-oriented show ran for two seasons. It was ranked 9th on the “most viewed list” of passengers flying into Abu Dhabi. English language; subtitled in Arabic
Video Editor, Treasure Hunt Oman - Mini Series (TV Show)
This five episode mini-series was produced for Oman Air and the Oman Tourism Authority. A competition reality show, it featured 5 teams of European travel journalists and PR professionals who solved puzzles and completed physical challenges while journeying across the scenic country in hopes of solving the ultimate riddle and winning the grand prize. English language; subtitled in Arabic
Scriptwriter + Assistant Director, Destination Oman- Pilot
This 20-minute quarterly tourism oriented show is the official in-flight news and entertainment show on board all aircrafts of Oman Air.

At twofour54 intaj, I assisted the video editors and post production department in the configuration of the Avid Media Composer, FCP and Avid DS Nitris systems, creating workflows and video editing for various clients.
With Souq.com, I worked on creating several campaigns - comprising newsletters, online banner ads, print ads and radio ads. Supporting their marketing strategy with ideas and copy, I contributed to the "My letter to Santa", "It's the gift that counts!" and "Redefine your style this 2010" campaigns.
Worked on event collaterals - the concept, boiler plate, presentations, invitations, website and press releases and post-event analysis for their events in the fashion, business and entertainment sectors.
Wrote speeches, press releases, radio and print ads for their clients such as Gargash Enterprises (Mercedes-Benz), Jotun Paints, etc.
As a freelance video producer with the Arab Media Group, I was responsible for the video content creation for their website Hala Ramadan. The site was an initiative to bring the people of the country together during the holy month through sharing of information, advice and experiences about Ramadan.
My duties were to pitch story ideas to the online editor, script, shoot and edit the video clips and upload them to the site.
As the only Copywriter in the medium-sized agency, my role was to supply concepts and words for websites, print advertisements, newsletters, brochures, radio ads and corporate videos.
My duties involved liaising with the Planning, Client Servicing and Design departments to formulate the right strategy, find the creative idea and often meet with clients to further discuss a concept, all this within the assigned deadline.
I have worked on renowned brands from different business sectors such as Jotun Paints, IFFCO, National Bank of Umm al Quwain, Azizi Investments and Panasonic.
At Showtime, I got hands-on experience with the aesthetics and techniques of video editing and working of the software Final Cut Pro, which put me in good stead in my TV & Video Production specialization course at Manipal University.
I worked on several promos as well as the weekly show Axis of Evil Comedy Tour that was organized and aired by Showtime Arabia.
At Young and Rubicam, Abu Dhabi, I worked on copy, taglines, TVC scripts and proofreading for clients such as Etisalat and United Bank Limited (UBL) as part of the creative team.
Maintained a consistently high academic record with a GPA of 3.8 and above on a four point scale throughout the course. On graduation, I was presented with the Outstanding Contribution Award to the Department of Media and Communications at Manipal University.
