. Provides strong leadership and direction to ensure compliance to Safety standards, Quality requirements, Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities to safely achieve all project objectives on time, within budget and to the agreed quality and project’s standards.
. Prepares project execution plan, procedures and other execution plans, developing alternatives and supervising control and appraisal processes
. Setting priorities and coordinating activities across the engineering, procurement and construction departments.
. Prepares, analyses and ensure all change orders are properly monitored, tracked, and closed commercially.
. Performs check estimates of all change orders together with project team members.
. Facilitate meetings with client and team members to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues arising from different phases in the project. Provides risk response plans and monitor the actions frequently.
. Formally documents win strategy in relation to contractual matters in the project.
. Manages the programming of the design, procurement, construction, shutdown, pre-commissioning, and start-up assistance activities.
. Negotiates, administers, and controls contracts and agreements with client and subcontractors.
. Develops scope, schedule, and budget for change order proposals.
. Simplifies complex topics for non-technical audiences and prepares quick-pointed summarizes for clients and stakeholders.
. Performs quality reviews for planning, engineering, procurement, administrative, and construction tasks.
. Supervises multiple individuals and teams for an effective and engaged team.
. Manages construction quality, constructability, inspection services, and change management.
. Resolves contractual disputes and variations that arise with client and subcontractors.

. Responsible for the overall planning, organization, direction and execution of engineering activities including engineering deliverables, and studies i.e. HAZOP, SIL, design reviews and 3D model reviews with client, and ensures that all applicable comments are incorporated and resubmitted in timely manner.
. Identify together with the engineering the team changes of scope arise from client’s comments and requirements in addition to the Contract.
. Ensures that design is being executed in accordance and in compliance with the Contract requirements and project standards.
. Prepares or approves all Technical Memorandums issued to clients for design endorsement and alternative proposals for value engineering studies.
. Ensures that all engineering activities are completed within the budgeted man-hours, evaluates and approves additional engineering man-hours and adjust the engineering resources as required.
. Reviews and approves engineering submissions and alerts project control team of any design changes which may cause impacts on schedule and/or cost.
. Prepares project’s equipment list. Ensures that all requisitions of equipment and bulk materials are issued to procurement department for vendor’s inquiry in timely manner. Priorities long lead equipment/material to avoid late deliveries to site.
. Attends and manages engineering meetings; internal, with client, with subcontractor(s), and vendor(s).
. Assigns the field engineering team, and ensures that all field engineering activities and field changes are properly attended and controlled.
. Provides assistance and managing changes of P&IDs, and other submittals amongst concerned disciplines after issuance for construction “IFC”.

. Prepares the interface management plan in compliance with project’s requirements and interfacing guidelines.
. Prepares and controls the interface interdependency schedule and assigning roles and responsibilities of concerned departments, i.e. process, piping, electrical, mechanical, and civil to complete the required data.
. Attends global interface meetings representing the company in kingdom and out of kingdom. Presenting the interface plan, schedule, and required dates of engineering and construction deliverables.
. Clearly identifies and confirms the split of scope between the interfacing contractors and properly records the conclusions in MOMs.
. Identifies, develops, and finalises all interfaces in association with other Contractors. Manages the exchange of detailed design, construction, inspection, and pre-commissioning information with other Contractors.
. Responsible for using the Interface Management Systems provided by the client to manage and control interface requests and inquires, and approves the
. Collaborating with main contractors as their single point of contact, developing positive professional relationships at all levels.

. Coordinates engineering activities with the procurement, construction and commissioning functions, ensuring timeliness and responsiveness.
. Spearheading a team of 6 Discipline Lead Engineers, procurement and construction teams.
. Prepares scope of work for additional works related to buildings and civil works. The scope includes design works, procurement, and construction.
. Prepares contractual responses to client and assisting the project manager in administering the contract.
.Fully engaged in the pre-qualification, tendering, and selection of main sub-contractors and other disciplines related to insulation, inspection, and E&I.
. Liaises with client to ensure early mobilization of resources at site and work permit procedures.
. Assigned as Proposal Manager with responsibility for proposal set-up and strategy, client interaction, bid query resolution, negotiation, tender preparation and submission.

• Collaborate with piping team of designers to complete all mechanical piping scope in the project and provide all engineering support.
• Prepare and design all construction related documents.
• Ensure compliance to all piping material specifications.
• Provide support to all procurement activities and evaluate all vendor submittals.
• Provide assistance to all senior engineers and recommend improvements to all design and travel to site to analyze all piping systems and maintain efficient relation with all plant personnel.
