HR Business Partner at MenaBev
  • Saudi Arabia - Jeddah
  • My current job since July 2005

I have been with the organization for more than a decade now, and have moved up the career ladder from Administrator to HR Business Partner. Currently, I am heading end-to-end HR management for employees across 14 distribution centers and the largest bottling facility i.e. Pepsi Mega Plant in KSA. I am accountable for strategy planning, budgeting, employee engagement, talent acquisition and management, PMS, C&B, process improvements, cost optimization, stakeholder and team management.

I have been instrumental in developing, scaling up and growing the HR function in line with organizational growth and evolution. As member of the core team, designed and implemented HR process manual covering all HR activities, defined organization structure, set up the first HR SLA and HR KPI's & Performance tracking. Drafted a 1000 day organizational chart for all functions based on changing macro environment and business priorities. Also, designed/revised HR policies including the C&B, workplace behavior, training, hiring and separation policies with focus on culture change directed at employee engagement. Rolled out hybrid online performance appraisal system based on PepsiCo “My Access” portal.

In the last 6+ years, I have been managing HR for supply chain and operations functions which includes the biggest manufacturing operations in AMEA. I have been the HR architect for the mega plant which was created by consolidating 3 other plants. This involved activities right from organizational design to hiring, policies and more.

Led HR agendas focusing on creating a healthy work environment, inculcating a fair, transparent and employee friendly work culture, building an all-inclusive C&B framework, and more. In terms of talent management, I have set up the competency framework and a KPI performance management system, ensured achievement of nationalization targets, focused on upgrading the existing resource capabilities and skill sets, while practicing gender equality and diversity.
