Managing the program partnerships and implementation of projects with key donors such as; UNHCR, MOFA Luxembourg, North Rhine-Westphalia, neighbor in need, and InZone, with a portfolio exceeding USD 15, 000, 000 in the past 5 years. Overseeing more than 40 staff members and 100 volunteers.
•Overseeing and directly managing projects in the fields of; Community based protection, mass information, community services, cash, food, WASH, higher education, psychosocial support, and livelihood.
•Providing leadership and coordination, ensuring the implementation and accomplishment of the program objectives in line with CARE international vision, goals, principles, standards, approaches and strategic plan.
•Fund raising, proposal development, communicating with donors and being the focal point of all the program projects.
•Coordinate the development of the program plans, strategy, and projects implementation.
•Co-chairing with UNHCR the community services and mass information (CSMI) working group.
•Represent CARE international in Azraq camp sectoral meetings, coordination meetings, and governmental relations.
•Ensure safety and security of CARE’s employees and facilities in the camp.
•Ensures compliance with donors’ rules & regulations, including familiarizing all relevant project staff to these.
Providing clinical supervision (individual and group) to the counsellors at the mental health care units in Iraq, on a regular basis, on live and video conference; Clinical supervision provides technical support, on-the-job training and supports the professional development of mental health care professionals.
•Reporting on program achievements, challenges, and setting milestones.
•Act as the main security focal point on regular basis and when needed.
•Implement capacity building trainings for the mental health counsellors, hospitals personnel, and governmental focal points on regular basis.
•Strategic planning and elaboration of annual programming.
•Establishing the tele-counseling and tele-self-care support system, through the Iraq-wide helpline project.
•On-going training for counsellors at the mental health care units in Iraq.
•Interviewing and recruitment process for counsellors for the mental health care units.
