- Responsible for overseeing all design of OSP fiber optic infrastructure solution for The Jordanian
Ministry of Information & Communication Technology. National Broadband Network (NBN). open access data network under development for south region in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to connect (900) public schools, (27) knowledge stations, (740) government entities and (93) healthcare centers with a total of 850km OSP Metro & LH fiber optic infrastructure.
- Overall project management, Create and maintain the project management plan.
- Leading and Managing the Project Development, Bidding Process, PM Cost, Cost Analysis, Cost Budgets, Variance Analysis, and change order management from the customer.
- Provides support for estimating and bid processes.
- Responsible for supporting and controlling of project risk, Scope, Quality, Schedule, Communications, and integration plans.
- Monitors progress of all areas contributing to the project and reports project progress and recommends actions to the stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate and manage Vendors Performing QA/QC inspection, Final Punch and site acceptance walks.
- Work with Vendors in coordinating Bill of Materials, Notices to proceed equipment order and shipment.
- Organize and chair periodic meetings with customer, contractors & third party together to ensure everyone is on track, communicate changes and verify that all is working towards a common goal.
- Leading planning and design stage for OSP (Metro, LH, FTTH ...etc.).
- Check method of statements, FQP (Field Quality Plan), ROW (Right of Way) and submit instructions for any correction.
- Check contractors RFIs and make sure the work is done properly according to the specifications.
- Responsible of project shop drawings, RFA, RFS and BOQ approval & accomplished certificates.
Responsibilities
• Managing the delivery of (Network & FTTH) projects nationwide of all work streams; 150+ resources. (Contractual, technical and financial delivery of all projects).
• Overall projects management, create and maintain the project management plan.
• Leading and managing the project development, bidding process, cost analysis, cost budgets, variance analysis, and change order management from the customer.
• Provides support for estimating and bid processes.
• Responsible for supporting and controlling of project risk, scope, quality, schedule, communications and integration plans.
• Identify and assess the potential risks for the whole project life-cycle and work on risk mitigation to ensure project deliverable and targets achieved without any risk exposure.
• Monitors progress of all areas contributing to the project and reports project progress and recommends actions to the stakeholders as required.
• Handles change management by recommending to client the required engineering design changes according to on-site conditions.
• Prepare request for facility allocation, engineering work change request & justification for client approval before construction.
• Attend periodic meetings with stakeholders to discuss status report, risk plan/ mitigation, change orders, action plan…etc.
• Select, on-board and orient the team that will be assigned to project to clearly identify purpose and background for the project.
• Organize and chair periodic implementation meetings, bring the implementation team together to ensure everyone is on track, communicate changes and verify the team is working towards a common goal.
• Leading planning and design stage for OSP (Metro, LH, FTTH ...etc.).
• Ensure the accuracy of work completion accomplishment report submitted by the subcontractors before signing their billing invoices in every milestone.
• Ensure completion of all technical documents from PAT to final acceptance test report, bills of materials and as built red line drawing plans for billing and handover purposes.
Responsibilities
• Follow through end to end project life cycle from initiation, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of full turnkey projects.
• Oversee all projects activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design, including Complete Managing, Controlling, and ensuring that standard practices for projects Implementation is delivered according to target schedule & project specifications.
• Lead and guide projects teams of engineers, technicians, supervisors, labors, and subcontractors to deliver projects within budget, and time frame & quality standards.
• Obtain approvals, ROW permits, and Site Acquisition for Implementation and Maintenance activities along with projects phases\stages.
• Preparing master project schedule and detailed schedules by WBS, identifying major milestones to achieve project completion date. (Assigning all resources for each activity), Tracking actual
Progress versus planned progress to determine variances, to analyzing schedule trends, determining risks and developing options for corrective action.
• Preparation estimated budget including required resources to implement the project: materials,
equipment, Manpower (HR Plan), and other costs. And Identify materials types & quantities
lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
• Prepare specification documents to submit to vendors for quotations of price for materials and equipment, and prepare the supplier bidding documents, BOQs, RFPs and RFQs.
• Preparation Executive Progress Summary Report and Presentations to P.M.O. Manager about Project Status For periodical review. In addition to Review, Approval, and submit PAT, RFS, PAC & FAC procedures, drawings and documents.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of site engineers & technicians to deliver the projects within project stream lines.
• Oversee all on-site project activity to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and rise to customer expectations.
• Perform inspection of project activities to ensure conformance with approved designs/plans.
