Responsible for looking after the HR side of the business; responsibilities include:
o Leading/developing the regional HR team to ensure that all HR goals/targets are met accordingly.
o Active participation with regional operations attending weekly meetings as well as providing them
with different HR reports.
o Ensuring the departmental needs, of human capital, are met as per the agreed on workforce plans
and related workload conditions.
o Overseeing recruitment activities: including selection, testing, interviewing and attending career
events. Also overseeing HRDF governmental support for the region.
o Overseeing administration and government affairs activities for Zahid Group in the Eastern Region.
o Overseeing the security department in the eastern region.
o Responsible for all employee relations issues including festival activities, conflict management and
disciplinary actions.
o Saudization: focus on improving & increasing the level of Saudization through recruiting,
developing and retaining Saudi national staff.
o Compensation and benefit expert. Reviewing reports from different entities, making analysis and
recommending actions.
o Work on identifying and fine-tune the different HR metrics needed by the company.
o Maintain adequate Parts inventories of Caterpillar and other franchises to ensure achievement
of corporate objectives on availability, turnover, and return on investment.
o Monitoring and looking after the warehousing of parts and materials.
o Monitoring parts operation indicators and taking pro-active actions and/or solutions.
o Developing the manpower within the department and looking after new employees hiring.
o Cooperate and coordinate activities with other Departments.
o Safety Officer for the Parts Operations department.
o Caterpillar Production System (CPS) Regional Champion.
A 6 Sigma Black Belt trained on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control). Working on various processes to improve their efficiency either by reducing needed resources or completion time. Completed four 6 Sigma project successfully with either financial or process improvements.
o Supervising all personnel department related activities.
o Supervising all governmental affairs related activities.
o Ensuring that personnel department staff receive the proper training that will
help improve their performance levels.
Completed a 6-month familiarization program in operations. Then, joined the sales and
marketing department in charge of advertisement activities, handling the key customers of the
company as well as business development activities.
Established and headed the Office Services department which was responsible for handling
both internal & external mail communications as well as offices printing needs.
Established and headed the Marketing Coordination unit which was responsible for processing orders, received from the marketing team, through the plants and delivering them
Joined Sabayek’s Project Management Team (PMT). Overseeing and monitoring the design and construction activities of the company.
