1) Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products.

4. Responsible for directing the operation of the manufacturing department for performance, verification, and completion of all in-process operations & documentation to ensure that the product meets the customer, code, industry regulations.
Products like : vertical turbine pumps, Right Angel Gear Drive box, Steel and Bronze casting parts.
5. Is responsible for a smooth flow of work in the plant while maintaining the production schedule and adequate machine utilization.
6. Responsible/coordinate for plant maintenance and facilities.
7. Is responsible for Work Order development, methods analysis & implementation, Work measurement, machine justification, tool & gauge analysis & request, assembly & test procedures, plant layouts, cost reduction.
8. Is responsible for the design & drawing of tools, jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment.
9. Recommends the purchase of specialised manufacturing equipment.
10. review sales Orders
1.Analyze production requirements, prepare/release plans, and work orders for production departments.
2.Review production plans and provide best delivery schedule for : CIF, OCR and new products.
3.Coordinate with purchasing department on material requirements.
4.Follow up with manufacturing departments to ensure compliance with production plans and take corrective measure when and where required.
5.Prepare castings requirement (priority list).
6.Effectively implement the Scala system.
7.Report to operations manager on issues related to :
•Production planning.
•Material requirements.
•Other needs
