Was on a fixed-term contract in this global Brand Protection role reporting directly to the Global Brand Protection Director.

 In my role as Brand Protection Counsel, I reported directly to the Global Brand Protection Director and was responsible for identifying, valuing, and protecting Reckitt's brand portfolios on a global scale.

 I also performed preliminary quality checks and gathered evidence across various brands. Additionally, I engaged with foreign counsels, managed policing efforts, implemented standard operating procedures, and oversaw Reckitt's global anti-counterfeiting initiatives. Collaborated with customs and regional authorities to combat counterfeit products, liaising extensively with the ME, GCC, European, and African regions.


Earlier on 1st March 2020, I joined RB as a Regional Legal Counsel ME & Iran- Health on FTC. In this role, my main responsibilities were:

 In my role as Regional Legal Counsel ME & Iran-Health at RB, I provided proactive and value-added commercial legal advice to the leadership team, regional markets, and various business units in the ME and GCC regions.
 I worked closely with other business units and functions, supporting them in commercial contracts, compliance, risk assessment, disputes, and investigations.

Played a key role in ensuring adherence to the Company’s high ethical standards and ensuring the corporate profile and operation of Imperial Tobacco are aligned with local and International legal requirements.

 Drafted, reviewed and managed all Distributor agreements, agency agreement, HORECA Agreements, Service contracts with the Middle East, GCC, Turkey and Egypt distributors and partners.

 Supported all day-to-day operational, legal matters and contributed in giving input to larger project matters as and when required and dealt with general day to day operational, legal enquiries from various business units.

Jetex is a global service provider into Aviation/airline industry and provides flight support and other related services to the aviation customers globally.

 Sole key point of contact for all legal and compliance needs of the group company globally and acted as Group Legal and Compliance Head for the Company and had overseen the legal aspects for a group of businesses.

 Drafted, vetted, validated and negotiated a full range of contracts, including standard contracts for the USA, UK, Russia, Malaysia, South Africa, Middle East, China, India, Singapore regions relating to the aviation industry and clients, including supplier contracts, ground handling agreements, fuel agreements, hotel contracts, software implementation agreement, lease deed, customer contracts, standard employment agreements, banking documents, consulting agreement, representative agreement, agency contract, NDA, confidentiality agreements, Shareholders agreements, joint venture, MOUs.

 Handled legal audits and due diligence, drafted, revied/amended and implement Group compliance policies and procedures, SOPs, organized training with Thomson Reuters on compliance to the FCPA and UK Anti-Bribery Act for the employees, drafted manual on Company’s standard anti-corruption, anti-bribery policy.

Drafted and negotiated all kinds of international contracts and agreements like (MOU, NDA, franchisee agreements, partnership agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, lease, commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, outsourcing agreements).

 Provided legal advice to various clients on corporate and commercial laws, company set up, new business set up in Dubai, labor and employment matters, property and real estate matters.

 Provided high-quality legal advice and services to the ME region and internationally, ensuring legal risks are identified, prioritized and resourced to protect the business and ensured compliance with relevant legal and regulatory obligations, requirements and standards.

Single point of reference for all corporate legal work in the Holding Company.

Drafted, reviewed and negotiated commercial contracts / agreements like: MOU, NDA, term sheet, joint ventures, service contracts, employment agreements, Share Purchase agreements, Lease agreements, franchise agreements, sale purchase agreements, business and financing agreements, IT agreements, management agreements, development agreements.

 Handled: labor matters like termination of employees, termination notice, redundancy letter, ban, absconding matters, HR related issues.

 Mainly looked and handled all the legal matters arising out of day-to-day Mall’s commercial activities and emphasized on minimizing the business risks to safeguard the interest of the Company.

 Handled legal drafting and documentation of shopping malls, properties and commercial buildings of the group of companies. This would include: leave and license lease, sale purchase agreement, share purchase agreement, franchisee agreement, bank guarantee, vendors agreement, service agreement.

 Mainly handled international clients and companies, which primarily included - commercial and corporate law, arbitration and dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, Due Diligence, FDIs, take, legal support services, and legal advisory.
