• Review price quotes and availability of items, offer purchase recommendations and negotiate with
vendor representatives as required
• Manage outside vendors including shippers, couriers, Insurance and postal service
• Conducts continuous research to locate new potential suppliers and stay abreast to new products and market trends
• Maintaining a consistent administrative work flow for the MG, ensuring smooth operations for the day-to-day business.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for the GM, notify participants, prepare and arrange all necessary material or agenda for these meetings
• Maintain and update employee files related to hiring, termination, leaves, overtime, transfers, promotions or renewed information using Human Resources Management System
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
• Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand.
• Prepares database for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
• Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Spot-checks inventory levels daily and replenishes stock from main store inventory following established procedures; orders stock from sales representatives within defined limits.
• Assists customers in locating items, answering questions or refers to appropriate store; rings up sales and accepts payment for purchases
