Work as an Accountant and manage day-to-day accounting operations to ensure consistency and comparability in accounting practices and financial reporting.
➢Manage all aspects of branch accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, finalization of books of accounts, payroll processing, auditing, and taxation.
➢Manage Branch Accounting by handling accounting activities (expenses and adjustment entries) of 6 branches.
➢Record journal vouchers for 6 branches on expenses, fixed assets, provisions, prepaid expenses, depreciation on fixed assets, and accruals.
➢Streamline Accounts Payable activities and prepare the payment orders for cheque and cash payment by checking invoices.
➢Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions (Local & Foreign Banks).
➢Compute Commission of all products and settling of the accounts.
➢Prepare and process payroll of WPS customer through UAE EWPS in a timely and accurate manner.
➢Making more than 200 invoices on daily basis.
➢Passing inter branch transactions and journal entries.
➢Perform branch Cash Audit at the end of every financial year and submit the cash audit report to top management.
➢Prepare finalization and closing of the books in the branches.
➢Perform monthly reconciliation of Inter-Branches.
➢Monitor branch transactions related to payments and receipt entries etc.
➢Scrutinize petty cash and post to correspondent accounts.
➢Scrutinize various tax deductions and exemptions under direct and indirect taxes and get maximum benefits within the regulatory framework.
➢Calculate output & input vat and enter to respective accounts finally transferred to federal tax authority and collect the refund vat.
➢Work with other cross-functional teams to carry out and effectively complete month-end close tasks related to accounting functions.
➢Experienced in Admin & Visa processing procedure.
➢Provide support during financial audits and regulatory inspections
