• Report directly to the HSE Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Site safety inspection & supervision.
• Conducting safety training/awareness program.
• Conduct investigation of all near miss report incident / reportable incident & suggestion measure to prevent such re-occurrence
• Conducting trainings & tool box talks.
• Attended plant safety committee meetings.
• Prepare Accident / incident, investigation report.
• Prepare job safety analysis to aware the hazards involve in particular job.

• Review and update the onside emergency plan.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly safety report and report to HOD (EHS).
• Imparted Safety Motivation Program at site such as speech, spot quiz competition etc.
• Organize various safety competitions to motivate employees & workers.
• Facing out internal and external safety audits
• Checking and inspection scaffoldings, fire alarm system, fire hydrant system, sprinkle system, fire extinguisher, Smoke and Gas detector to ensure they are working properly.
• Safely plant start up and shut down activity.
• Carrying out site safety inductions. Identifying staff training requirements.
• Checking to make sure that staff do not arrive to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Co-ordination with Production, Security & Shift In charges for Priority of Safety Issues and maintaining Safety Culture standards.
• Prepare PPE Grid, PPE Management, Inspection, Storage & distribution.
• Safe work permits on side inspection & permit compliance.
• Advising managers on how to minimize or eliminate risks and hazards.
• Making sure that personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets are being worn in the workplace.
• Installation of safety signs, traffic control signs and other safety promotion posters to remind workers to work safely and enhance safety awareness among them.
• Verifying to confirm that all lifting equipment operators are trained, competent and certified.
• Issue Hot Work and Cold Work Permit.

Calculate batch to batch yield with respect to RM consumption & ensure RM consumption ratio is within the limit.
Reduce the time losses while processing due to any breakdown maintenance.
Issue raw materials & packing material from warehouse & monitor for safe and proper use.
Ensure quality reports of products are as per requirements.
To utilize manpower, equipment’s as per production planning.
Issue finished goods with QC report with appropriate packing’s to warehouse.
Improve & maintain proper communication between other departments like maintenance, Quality, HR admin & safety.
Monitor & compliance of preventive maintenance of equipments as per schedule.
Provide training to subordinates on safe and proper handling of chemicals and processes.
Follow EHS systems in the area like safety work permit system, Use of personnel protective equipment’s, Reporting of unsafe conditions, incident or accidents ..etc.
Participates in safety activities through safety committee as a member.
Consistent monitoring and improvement in Safety activities & housekeeping of work area.
