• Preparation of Quality related documents as per client’s requirement such as Quality control plan, Quality procedure, ITP and related work instructions and liaison with the client for the approvals.
• Responsible for incoming materials Inspection with respect to approved suppliers, approved Specification, Data sheets, Material Approval and quality plan.
• Handled as QA/QC Engineer, Turn over the systems.
• Verify Drawing & specification of Electrical Equipment.
• QA/QC Electrical Documentation and Maintain the testing devices.
• Responsible for the over-all implementation of Quality Control related electrical works accordance with project specifications and Engineering Standards.(As per Project QA/QC plan)
• Verify the equipment and devices used in the project meets the required specifications per project requirements, Standard and tested in accordance with the procedures.
• Monitor the Underground installations; check the required burial depth and spacing requirements to adjacent installations, prior to backfilling.(NEC Art-250, IEE-80, 81, NETA)
• Testing of LV & MV cables meggering and HI - POT test.(NETA.ATS 2009)
• Testing of motors (LV, MV): Prior to Solo Run and Solo run test.(IEEE, NEC Art-430-445), NETA ATS.2009
• Inspection of Emergency Diesel generator (EDG): Installation, cable termination, functional test, Load test.
• Inspection of Electrical Lighting installation, function test and Illumination level testing.(IESMA, ANSI, IES, NEMA-LSD NEC Art 410&411)
• Inspection of Panels installation, control panel wiring, Termination.
• Cable routing & cable tray installation.(NEMA-VE1, VE2)
• Inspection of Electrical Heat tracing (EHT): JBs installation, cable laying, meggering, terminations, and functional test.(NEC Art-427, IEC, SAES.P-315)
• Inspection of Cathodic protection: Transformer Rectifier, Anode, Cathode, Multipurpose JBs, big fink test station installation, Cable laying, termination, cad welding, testing & commissioning.(NACE)
• Verify all required inspection report and test records are systematically generated and compiled according to the approved QC Procedures as per Schedule Q.
• Coordinate with Client representatives regarding the implementation and quality of works.
• Follow the Calibration of testing equipments
• Inspection of Switch Gear installation, Cable Termination and Bus bar IR test.(NEMA-ICS, NETA ATS 2009, IEEE, REC)
• Insulation Resistance Testing of LV and MV motors.(NETA ATS 2009)
• Inspection of Ground conductor and Grounding cable, as per Project Specification.
• Preparation of Electrical Inspection Reports and Electrical Test packages as per Project Specification.
• To supervise and carry out effective implementation of work schedule to clear punch list.
• Inspection of LV & MV Transformers and NGR Erection, termination, oil filtration, testing & filling.
• Inspection of HVAC Panel, Control Panel (DDC) Installation, Testing and Commissioning(NETA.ATS 2009, NEC Art 250, IEEE)
• Installation of instrument process lines such as stainless steel tubing and galvanized iron.
• Calibration for the Welding equipment’s ( Welding generator, Welding rectifier, oven).
• Installation and modification of various instruments for Vendor Compressor Package.
• Inspection of control valves calibration, Seat Leakage test.
• Leads an inspection team for Loop checking and leak test activities for instrument air / impulse lines pressure test.
• Inspection of panel installation, Power and data serial link cable termination, system Energization and making final Hot loop checks.
• Erection of transformers (Oil immersion types and Dry types) 100kVA to 25MVA.
• High voltage & low voltage cable pulling through manhole & duct bank system.
• Installation of overhead line and poles up to 33kV.
• LV & MV Cable glanding, splicing and termination.
