• Working as Operations Manager in galvanized division. I am handling complete operations (production, logistics, and inventory management) of the department along with service/material procurement and sales.
• Made sure that required quantity of GI, CR, SS and HR sheets and coils are readily available to internal and external customers. Assuring that required material is available at the right time at right place to meet logistics and supply chain needs.
• Predicting demand. Regular quality inspection of incoming material to ensure correctness of material at yard. Prioritizing material procurement and supply in highly pressured environment.
• Monitoring, recording and storing accurately the receipt of products from the various steel mills, the shipment of goods to customers, movement and storage of goods.
• Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability.
• Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by managing and enhancing, inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
• Measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Develop and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Processing sales related letters, proposals and contracts in a timely manner.

• Designed Assembly station layout & work instructions for error free production of various assemblies.
• Implemented 5S in assembly area and performed regular Kaizen. Handled workforce up to a count of 25 individuals.

• Designing of gauges for inspection of various parts and trolleys for finished goods handling.
• Regular planning discussions with press shop and welding shop to ensure having safety stock of raw material for assemblies taking time.
• Visiting various suppliers on regular basis to ensure material quality is maintained and as per customer requirement.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
