In this role, my primary responsibility is to develop and maintain web-based applications including customer facing websites, enhance existing web applications, and provide production support and user support. Responsible to maintain, support and enhance native and cross platform mobile apps. Interact with various stakeholders and work with cross technical teams across the design, coding, testing, production deployment and third-party product implementations processes. Resolving production issues, analyze root cause issue and provide resolution in a timely manner.
#1 Project Name : Qatar Airways - Group Employee Management System
Description: GEMS Neo is Qatar Airways Group HR platform for collaboration between Employees, HR and Management. It enables automation of interaction between Employees, Line Management and HR through Self-service functions such as Personal Info, Leave, Duty Travel, School fees reimbursement, HR/Immigration Services, Overtime, Time and Attendance, Separation etc.
Technologies: Azure Devops, Git, ASP.Net MVC, MS SQL Server 2017, Angular JS, Ag-Grid, SonarQube, HTML5
Responsibilities:
• Migration of application from Silverlight to ASP.Net MVC
• Migration of code base from TFS to Git
• Responsible for gathering user requirements, and implementing error free code, unit testing and preparing user acceptance test document
• Creating and modifying database objects, query optimization and creating reports from a large dataset
• Worked on enhancing the Non-functional aspects such as performance, security and User Experience
#2 Project Name: Qatar Airways - E-Sourcing (Procurement Portal)
Description: E-sourcing is an application for obtaining bids from different suppliers via a single online portal. Used to streamline the sourcing process, reduce prices by maximizing supplier competition, and creating a repository for sourcing information.
Technologies: .NET 4.5, Oracle Client, AngularJS, Kendo UI, ADO.Net, TFS
Responsibilities:
• Identified the areas of modification in existing modules and subsequently developed error-free code modifications within agreed time-scales
• Investigated incidents reported in production and ensured right changes
• Involved in support activities and TFS code management activities
• Prepared test scenarios, performed functional and non functional testing and wrote test cases
