Managerial position

Bamangwato Toyota (Pty) Limited is an authorized local agent in Botswana for the Toyota vehicles manufactured/distributed by Toyota South Africa Ltd. The Company consists of New car division, used car division, Parts division, service division and BP fuel distribution center.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparing of Budgets for the entire company, allocating performance targets to the
Operational managers and drawing up incentive schemes to maximize performance.
• Preparing and presentation of monthly management account to directors.
• Preparing and presentation of operational and performance reports to Toyota
South Africa (Franchise Holder).
• Timely completion of annual audits and submission of accounts to statutory authorities.
• Monitoring and reviewing of controls time-to-time and taking required actions.
• Overhead monitoring and control and preparing of adhoc management reports on cash
Flow, overhead analysis, variance reports etc. and taking corrective action if required.
• Managing cash flows to maximize profits, stock control and pricing.
• Handling all foreign currency transactions, exchange rate negotiation, dealing with
Banks for various facilities.
• Joint signatory for company bank accounts and all official documents.
• Overlook the HR department, which is under a HR Manager.
Further I am overlooking entire financial aspects of following sister companies in the
Group.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of management account and statutory financial statements.
• Preparation of annual budgets and exercising strict budgetary control.
• Assisting in resolution of operational issues as a key member of the Management Team
•Liaison with internal and external auditors and tax authorities.
•Liaison with banks and other financial institutions to establish a business relationship for borrowing/lending of funds.
• Exercising efficient and effective cash flow management to minimize cost of
Finance and monitoring of inventory management.
