Responsibilities:
• Explore new business opportunities in the field of IT and manpower outsourcing
• Monitoring of IT projects both inhouse and ICSIL clients
• Liaison with officials from 100+ client departments for smooth operations of all the activities

• Project Director for O&M (5 years) of Computer lab under ‘ICT@ School’ Project in 591 Govt. high schools of Orissa. The responsibility includes provisioning of teaching faculty in each school.
• Overall project management with 605 nos. staff working on the project
• Liaison with various stakeholders both private and state govt.
• Explore new business opportunities in the region for TCIL

Projects in Hand: Optical Fiber related projects for the elite clients like HEISCO, Kharafi National, Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Zain, KEMS Zazil (Leading ISP of Kuwait) and maintenance of communication setup for a period of 5 years for Joint Operations, Wafra etc.

Exploring new business opportunities

To meet project goals and to fulfil the customer's expectations, the customer relation is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract.

Responsible for all project activities during the project establishment, execution and conclusion phases.

Planning, setting up, and executing the project activities, ensuring that the project goals are met and that the customer’s business requirements are fulfilled.

Overall responsibility to achieve the project goals with respect to functions, time and budget, and for the progress of the project.

Manage the customer relation and the customer’s expectations in conjunction with the requirements for the projects as described in the project specification.

Worked as a Project Management Consultant on various Wide Area Network (WAN) Projects for Central and State Government departments.

Consultancy services for implementation of State Wide Area Network (SWAN) under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), Government of India through BOOT Model to various state Governments from concept to commissioning.

The major activities included:
Project conceptualization and preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) comprising: Requirement Definition, Site Survey, network design, budgeting etc.

Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) and defining vendor’s eligibility/ qualification criteria

Floating of NIT, Techno-commercial evaluation for selection of the operator

Supervision of installation and commissioning and acceptance testing thereafter.

Monitoring of the IT & Communications infrastructure as third party auditors for ensuring the uptime as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the respective network operator/service provider.

The above activities included close interaction with OEMs’, System Integrators (SI) and also with Department of IT, Govt. of India for approvals at various stages of the SWAN project.

Provided consultancy services and turnkey solutions to various government sectors in India for establishing/improving IT and Communications infrastructure

Preparation of the bid proposals for participating in the IT and networking related tenders from time-to time

Regular Interaction with officials of various state/central govt. agencies and submission of the proposals as per the requirement for exploring the new business opportunities for TCIL

Successful Planning, Designing, execution and maintenance of Enterprise-wide IT, LAN, WAN and V-SAT based infrastructure.

Liaisoning with various government agencies such as Ministry of Power, NIC, World Bank, Govt. of HP and private agencies such as OEMs and System Integrators related to planning, successful operation and maintenance of the IT & communications infrastructure of the corporation

Independently responsible for successful operation and maintenance of complete IT & Network setup of the plant on 24X7 basis.
