Redco International Trading and Contracting WLL is a leading industrial contracting and manufacturing group
operating in Qatar since 1982. Presently leading a team of over 35 personnel and serving on several major
projects of the Qatar Integrated Metro Rail Project located in Doha, Qatar which include;
1. Rizzani De Eccher - Lotte Engineering and Construction - Redco International Joint Venture (RLR JV) - Design,
construction and completion of ‘Metro Rail Red Line North Elevated & At-Grade package’ which includes
Viaduct, Cut & Cover, ramp, trough and 2 stations. Value USD 700M
2. Rizzani De Eccher & Redco International Joint Venture Joint Venture (RnR JV) - Hamad International Airport
Terminal1 and Switch Box. Value USD 300M
3. Metro Green Line Underground & Red Line South MEP & Architectural Works Project. Value USD 300 M
4. Qatar Metro Rail Design and Build - Station Area Works (35 Stations) - Value USD 175 M
Major responsibilities span on the following domain:
• Oversee the book keeping function and financial accounting system including maintenance of the general ledger,
accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany transactions, fixed assets and petty cash;
• Administer and review all financial plans, budgets and cost control activities; monitor progress and changes and
review monthly financial results and variance analysis reporting;
• Lead for organization’s relationships with insurance providers, bankers and external auditor;
• Ensure that statutory requirements of the organization are met including withholding tax payments, Income Tax
and Services tax;
• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy;
• Annual financial statements reporting to regulator and stakeholders (IFRS Based);
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the Finance committee;
• Lead procurement activities in accordance with JV’s procurement policy and supervising and managing all
procurement including the procurement of sub-contractors, suppliers, material, purchase/ hire of equipment.
• Responsible for
(Mobilink Telecom), is Pakistan’s largest cellular operator with a
subscriber base of more than 38 million. My major responsibilities at Mobilink included:
• Preparation of Financial Statements (IFRS - based) for reporting to the parent company as well as statutory
accounts for filing with the Stock Exchange including Consolidation of four entities of the PMCL Group;
• Developing, updating and operating the Accounting Quality Assurance Program and monitoring of KPI’s;

While working with KPMG, gained diversified experience in assurance and consultancy services for organizations
operating in different sectors including Development, manufacturing, hospitality, regulatory authority, Oil & Gas and
banking. The responsibilities included;
• Developing the audit strategies and audit plans (compliant with ISA’s and KPMG Audit Manual);
• Developing and applying audit methodology for assignments;
• Determining and designing nature, timing & extent of audit procedures, and monitoring their performance;
• Directing, supervising, reviewing and mentoring/training of audit teams/staff;
• Preparation of financial statements keeping in view reporting requirements of the entity;
• Preparing audit reports after deciding upon an opinion on the truth and fairness of the financial statements;
• Carried out Internal Audit and Risk Assessment Assignment for various companies;
• Carried out pre-grant overall assessments (including program, financial management, procurement, internal
and external audit functions) of USAID and PIPFA;
• Performed Fixed Assets Advisory Assignment for National Bank of Pakistan.
