In Schlumberger I worked as ElectroMechanical maintenance Technician.The tools I was working on are complex combination of mechanical & electrical parts. The tools are heavy ( up to 4800 kg) so working on them was require me to get certifications on Overhead Crane(5 Tons), Breakout Machine (torque Machine) (up to 190, 000 ft.lb), Forklift (5 Tons) and other certifications for working with radioactive containing, Lithium Battery, high pressure (3200 PSI) and high Voltage (100, 000 V) equipment. The work starts by disassembling the whole tool from one big (4000 kg) to smaller parts containing electrical parts (Battery, power generator, Electronic CPU...) and mechanical parts (Pressure Compensatory, Pistons, Gears, couplings, ....) and these parts then would be disassembled into smaller until it comes to small screws. We change what it have to be changed due to the last drilling run & inspect the parts for cracks, corrosion, wear out and metallic debris. After replacing the parts we start to assemble the tool, vacuum some parts & fill others with oils, install O-rings & other consumable parts. Then assemble the tool as require for the next job configuration, size and sensors. All of this process is systematized very well in a database that have history, instructions and store communication to order the parts & record all the steps done by every person (helps for improving & developing tools, people and equipment). A daily morning meeting is established to discuss the day job required & distribute the tasks & discuss any safety issue. Responsible to disassemble, repair and assemble of the main Electrical parts in the Advanced Drilling Systrem tools Rotary Steerable System wich are the Power generation module and the Steering drive motor. Doing a regular maintenance to the tool by changing sensors, Break coil, seals and replace as needed. In addition to regular maintenance I was responsible for doing module tests to be sure that power generation and steer drive motor are certified to operate well wich are Hi current test, Step voltage test, Hipot Test and Surge test wich all of these test the motor insulation, isolation, under load operation and the relays interruption. Whenever a motor or generator may fail in any test, a further troubleshooting is done to define the faulty part and change it as needed. I was responsible to keep track of all maintenance dates and operation conditions to every and each motor because under different circumstances and operating conditions motors performance may not be all the same.

New install, pull out and replace the Electrical Submersible Pump ESP into well to execute oil controlled by the Variable Speed Drive VSD.
